We love —
- Savouring the delicate flavours of matcha during a traditional tea ceremony, guided by a skilled tea master.
- Strolling through Nara Park, encountering friendly deer that roam freely among ancient temples and pagodas.
- Walking beneath the giant red lantern of Senso-ji Temple, feeling the energy of one of Tokyo’s most famous districts.
Customer reviews —
I was impressed by the truthfulness of Japan's reputation for being ‘between tradition and modernity’. In Osaka, in particular, I felt this effervescent side in Dotonbori street, while I discovered a much more traditional side in the streets of Gions in Kyoto. I also really enjoyed sleeping in Nara, and being able to enjoy the city on my own at the end of the day.
