I Monasteri Golf Resort is a luxurious residence full of history and surrounded by beautiful landscapes. The hotel boasts charming, traditionally styled rooms, an 18 hole golf course and a spa, all set in the midst of lush countryside rich in citrus, palms, carobs and olive trees.

I Monasteri Golf & SPA Resort has been involved since the beginning of the pandemic Covid-19 guarantees the maximum safety standard for its hotels our Guests and collaborators. The protocols and protective measures suggested by the authorities have been adopted national and international health care with the objective of allowing them to live every stay without worries, in complete safety and with service standards, unchanged comfort and hospitality. All staff are trained to apply the guidelines indicated by the authorities
competent. We set up the COVID Manager figure as a reference prepared and competent for the management of the activities of verification and control of the health protocol procedures. I Monasteri love to adopt specific hygiene measures and sanification for rooms and common areas with the aim of allowing use of safe and clean environments to protect the tranquility of our guests e of our collaborators.
The following are always been available:
- sanitizing gel dispensers
- obligation to use the mask in the common areas
- temperature verification for all Guests and staff
- posting of informative signs, in each common area, aimed at signaling respect for interpersonal distance, also supported by specifics floor markers or path marker strips designed to facilitate compliance of distancing
- differentiated routes for access and exit from the structure
- anti-covid protective kit for those without it (mask, gloves, gel disinfect ante)
- use of lifts with limitation of crowding and spacing social.

The Resort has two restaurants, The Monastery and Golf offering traditional cuisine of the local area and wider Sicily, as well as the wine cellar that offers a fine selection of Sicilian wines and in particular the Etna area and Ragusa.

Golf - A beautiful landscape among the Mediterranean citrus fruits scent, myrtle and laurel fragrances.
The Golf Course – 18 holes par 71, 6520 yards – was designed by the architects David Mezzacane, president of the Italian Golf Course Architects Association, and Vincenzo Mazzacane. The course was designed inside an 86 acres plantation of oranges and lemons.
Hole 6 par 5 is situated in a prickly pears plantation. The special white limestone Iblea hills surround the path of the holes two, three and four. Services include: Driving Range 40 positions, putting green and chipping green, practising bunker, golf carts to rent, manual trolleys, golf bags.

Flights:
It may be possible to choose from a selection of flight options at the next stage of the booking process. The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.
Transfers:
It may be possible to add return transfers at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability). For inbound transfer arrangements please confirm with your transfer provider when you arrive. Alternatively, please check with the reception of your accommodation. If you still require assistance, please call the transfer provider directly.
Car Hire:
For the freedom to explore your destination at your own pace, car hire may be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability). Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver. The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted). The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on the collection of the vehicle and in some cases, a credit card or cash deposit will be required. Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions. Other fees may be applicable in addition to the cost of your car rental for any additional products added to your car rental.

The landscape of Sicily is beautiful and varied. In the north-east, Mount Etna, with its fertile slopes and valleys, supports a number of vineyards. In the south-east there are the beautiful forest-covered mountains; the landscape characterised by soft hills, with vineyards, olive groves, almond trees, citrus and the characteristic carob trees.
To the west, the landscape becomes gentler with soft, rolling hills, and it is here one finds long sandy beaches. The weather is mild all year round and temperatures will not normally go below 15 degrees, even in the coldest months.
