The Cicerone Hotel Rome, on a street of the same name, lies in the heart of Rome's exclusive Prati district – a popular area for the city's well to do. Close to attractions like Castel St Angelo and the Vatican this four-star hotel in Rome also offers excellent access to prime shopping areas and some fantastic bars and restaurants.
This well-located hotel offers tastefully decorated rooms, classic Italian food and an elegant atmosphere. After a day's sightseeing, enjoy culinary delights in the typical Italian and Roman restaurant, Cucina, and enjoy a drink at the in-house cocktail bar.

Hotel Cicerone Roma is a short walk from Castel St. Angelo, St Peters Cathedral and the Vatican Museum. Just across the river lies the medieval heart of the city with its winding alleyways, stunning Piazzas and unique churches and fountains. Just down the bank of the Tiber you run into the charming and romantic area of Trastevere.
The hotel is well placed for public transport with a bus stop 15 yards from the hotel's front door, and a metro station between 5 and 10 minutes walk away. These public transport links can quickly and carry you to any corner of this great city. The affordable taxi services can also carry you across town, but if you have the energy, touring the city on foot is the best way to see this truly magnificent capital and enjoy all its treasures.

Transfers:

Car Hire:

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions. A city with a history spanning 28 centuries, Rome encompasses ancient ruins, Renaissance elegance, and modern style, all in one short trip. In this way, the city is a glorious architectural patchwork - begin at the ancient Roman Forum and Colosseum, before stopping by the Baroque masterpiece of the Trevi Fountain on the way to the glamorous shopping district of Via dei Condotti.
Looking over the city skyline, it’s hard to miss the many church spires - this is a city filled with religious monuments, and none is more conspicuous than the grand St. Peter’s Basilica within the independent state of the Vatican City. Within this tiny city, art-lovers will be thrilled to spend time in the Vatican Museums, housing some of the world’s most important examples of Renaissance art as well as the Sistine Chapel.
Elsewhere in the city, sample some authentic Italian coffee while standing at a bar like a true local, or treat yourself to the city’s best pizza - the Roman speciality of a square pizza offered by the slice can be found on most street corners. To relax and take in the city views, walk up to the Pincio Gardens - the perfect place to see a romantic sunset over Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican.
