Your Destination —
Porto Cervo sits in the heart of the Costa Smeralda. This pretty location combines Spanish, Italian and Greek architectural elements, with perfectly manicured streets and pretty seaside views in abundance. Porto Cervo's Piazetta, the main town square, is surrounded by shops and restaurants.
Costa Smeralda, named after its incredible crystal clear waters, is a stretch of land along the northeast coast of Sardinia, Italy. Although a beautiful historic area, the region's biggest draw is its turquoise water and fine-sand beaches, including Grande Pevero and Capriccioli. The main town of Porto Cervo is home to upscale hotels, shops and restaurants, drawing in a sophisticated set of travellers.
However, local attractions do not merely end with shopping and beach relaxation. Inland the ancient burial site of Tomba di Giganti Moru can be found, providing an excuse for a cultural excursion. Upon the hill, the incredible Stella Maris Church is also well worth a visit.
