- If you wish, climb the 294 steps of the Leaning Tower (ticket not included) for breathtaking views over the city.
- In the afternoon, visit Lucca and stroll along its well-preserved Renaissance walls, offering scenic views of the city.
- Climb the Torre delle Ore, visit the Cathedral of San Martino, and admire the Guinigi Tower, famous for its rooftop oak trees.
- Return to Montecatini Terme in the evening for an included typical Tuscan dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Florence

*By opting for the 7-night tour, you can go visit Montecatini Alto, a small village perched atop a hill at nearly 300 metres above sea level and take a ride on the Montecatini Terme funicular.
Day 5: Cinque Terre (or Liguria*)
- After breakfast, head to La Spezia and take a train to Riomaggiore, the first of the stunning Cinque Terre villages.
- Our suggestions for your day: explore Riomaggiore, then take a train to Manarola and wander through its narrow streets.
- Continue by train to Vernazza, known for its scenic beauty and medieval charm.
- Take the train to Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the five villages, and visit the Convento dei Frati Cappuccini and the Oratorio dei Neri.
- Return to La Locanda dell'Angelo Hotel 4* for an overnight stay.
*By opting for the 7-night tour, head to Liguria. We recommend visiting the beautiful medieval town of Sarzana and the picturesque coastal villages of Lerici, Tellaro, and Fiascherino.
Day 6: Departure (or Cinque Terre)

- Eat your hearty breakfast at the hotel and then go catch your flight home. Or, dedicate the entire day to exploring the Cinque Terre (if you choose the 8-night tour).
- Our suggestions for your day: from La Spezia railway station, take a train to Riomaggiore, arriving in about 8 minutes, and visit the village.
- Continue by train to Manarola to explore its charming streets.
- Next, take the train to Vernazza, the most panoramic and characteristic village of the Cinque Terre.
- The final stop is Monterosso al Mare, where we recommend visiting the Convent of the Capuchin Friars and the Oratory of the Neri.
- Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 7: Gulf of Tigullio
- Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.
- Spend the day exploring the Gulf of Tigullio and the renowned villages of Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino.
- Our suggestions for your day: Head to the port of Santa Margherita Ligure and take a ferry to Portofino, one of the most fashionable seaside villages on the Ligurian Riviera. Relaxation is the order of the day: we highly recommend shopping in the town’s boutiques before enjoying a panoramic sunset drink.
- After a day exploring Portofino, return by boat to Santa Margherita Ligure and visit this charming town.
- Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 8: Departure
- Enjoy your last delicious breakfast at the hotel.
- It is now time to drive back to the airport and catch your flight.
