Day Trip to Cliffs of Moher
Set off for a day out discovering the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most breathtaking sights, departing from Dublin!
You will leave Dublin early in the morning and head towards Limerick. Stop off at this city to see King John’s Castle, on the edge of the River Shannon.
After lunch in the village of Doolin (not included in price), you will head off for a brief hike in The Burren and admire the region’s natural landscapes and wild orchids.
You will then visit the historic city of Galway. On the way back, you will return to Dublin via a different route to ensure you have the opportunity to see more of the West Coast landscapes.

Take a stroll through Dublin’s elegant Georgian streets and squares, making your way to Trinity College at the heart of the city. Visit the beautiful Book of Kells, an illuminated manuscript of the four Christian gospels dating to the 9th century, and one of the country’s finest national treasures. From there you can wander up Grafton Street for the best that the city has to offer in shopping, exploring the wonderful side streets that are full of cosmopolitan coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques.
Enjoy lunch in one of the many fantastic restaurants. Afterwards, explore the troubled story of Ireland’s struggle for freedom and independence by visiting the atmospheric and moving Kilmainham Gaol. If you prefer something at a gentler pace, stroll through the grounds of the nearby Royal Hospital Kilmainham which is home to the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA).
