Your Itinerary —
Arrival at Dublin Airport. Pick up the car and transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, take in the attractions of this cosmopolitan capital. Don’t miss Trinity College, the Book of Kells and of course you’ll have to make sure to visit the world-famous Guinness Storehouse. The lively and vibrant Temple Bar District - Dublin's Cultural Quarter, is well worth a visit. Temple Bar has preserved its medieval street pattern, with many narrow cobbled streets. The area comes alive after dark, with many pubs, restaurants and nightclubs to choose from. Take part in a Musical Pub Crawl.
Enjoy your visit to the Guinness Storehouse while sipping your complementary pint of the “black stuff”

Spend the morning walking around Dublin, including St. Patrick’s Cathedral, which was founded in 1190 and has a varied and interesting history. The original structure has been rebuilt on a number of occasions, and the 300 foot long interior (the longest in Ireland) contains many historic relics.
Leaving Dublin travel via Clonmacnoise. Clonmacnoise is an ancient monastic site near Shannonbridge, County Offaly, and a top visitor attraction in Ireland. A walk amongst the peaceful stone ruins of this famous place will conjure images of the saints and scholars of Ireland’s renowned Golden Age of learning. Arrive in Galway where you can visit the Galway Crystal Factory, the Spanish Arch and Galway’s Cathedral.

Today you will travel through Connemara region, which is magnificent wilderness populated largely by sheep and dotted with hundreds of small lakes. The stone walls, tiny farms, isolated thatched cottages and heather covered hills are bounded by a sea coastline with many quiet sandy beaches. Many of the inhabitants of this region still speak Gaelic and ancient Celtic traditions and customs have been preserved.
You can also visit Kylemore Abbey, on the shores of Lough Corrib, a Victorian Castle in Tudor Style, beautifully situated on the shores of a lake and surrounded by the Twelve Bens– an impressive mountain range. Now it is the only remaining monastic home of the Benedictine nuns in Ireland who have restored its Victorian Gardens, which are well worth the visit.

Today on your way south to Clare you will visit Burren - a vast lunar landscape harbouring some 2000 species of rare plants and flowers. Beneath the surface are unique rock formations dating back two million years.Stop at the towering Cliffs of Moher, a famous feature of County Clare which stretch for approximately five miles along the rugged coastline.

Today continue your journey south to Kerry. You can stop at Bunratty Castle and Folkpark, a fine example of a Norman castle. The Folk Park adjoins the castle and aims to show what everyday life was like in rural Ireland about 100 years ago. It contains reconstructed farmhouses, cottages and shops.
In the afternoon visit to Muckross House and Gardens which are set in the Killarney National Park. The National Park comprises the mountains and woodland within the world famous Muckross House.

A full day of sightseeing on the Ring of Kerry today. You will head out toward the Gap of Dunloe, and continue in a counter-clockwise direction to avoid meeting all the tour buses as he negotiates the narrow bends in the road. The spectacular indented coastline of charming fishing villages has a pleasant, rural atmosphere that hasn’t changed in over 200 years. Be sure to stop in the charming villages of Waterville and Sneem. This is truly what Ireland is all about!

Today travel back to Wicklow. On your way you can stop at the famous Rock of Cashel, once the seat of the high kings of Ireland and an important ecclesiastical site in the early middle ages. Continue to Kilkenny, Irelands most famous medieval city before reaching County Wicklow.

Time permitting today you can visit the monastic site of Glendalough, which is located in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains in a beautiful valley with two small lakes. It is a popular recreational spot and the starting point for many beautiful walks and hikes around the valley. Follow the popular walk up the cliffs and enjoy the stunning view over the valley.
