India’s capital & a major gateway to the country, contemporary Delhi is a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds - the ancient with the modern. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2: DELHI
In the morning, you will be met by a local expert and he will take you on a walking tour of Old Delhi through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk. The day will start with a talk of about 45 minutes to one hour on the cultural and art scene of Delhi along with the aspect of the technicality of photography which we will cover in today’s tour.
You will walk the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk and meet traditional Indian businessmen who operate out of the largest wholesale market in Asia. In the narrow alleys of the old city, you will get a ringside view of a business culture that has remained largely unchanged for the past 200 years. You will also visit some lesser-known monuments tucked away in the by-lanes, Old Delhi’s most beautiful cul-de-sac and a private temple with beautiful fresco artwork. Your Old Delhi tour will end at the Jama Masjid (see from outside), the magnificent mosque, often referred to as the jewel of Shahjahanabad.
Lunch will be served at the Local Restaurant.
Later proceed for a sightseeing tour of New Delhi, covering the Qutub Minar, the tallest stone tower in India. The Tower is 72.5 m high and has 379 steps from the bottom to the top. The Minar is tapering with the diameter of the base is 14.3 m while at the top floor it is2.7 m. The Qutab Minar is still the highest stone tower as well as one of the finest Islamic structures ever raised in India. The tour also includes a drive past the imposing India Gate, the Parliament building and the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President’s residence.

DAY 3: DELHI - JABALPUR - KANHA

Although Rudyard Kipling never visited Kanha, his inspiration for the Jungle Book came from here. The park covers a huge 1,945 square kilometres and has two access gates, Mukki and Kisli. In the centre of the park is a peak with forested slopes leading up to the summit. A natural history museum located here is well worth a visit, with video displays introducing the park's ecosystem. Around 230 bird species have been recorded, including Warblers, Indian rollers, Black Ibis and Parakeets. There are large areas of a grassy meadow, ideal hunting grounds for the park's indigenous wild dogs
Upon arrival check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: KANHA
In the morning you will be driven to Pench National Park and check in at the hotel on arrival.
PENCH NATIONAL PARK nestles in the lower southern reaches of the Satpura Hills and is named after the Pench River which flows from north to south through this National Park. It is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh. Recently (in 1992) Pench has been included under the umbrella of "Project Tiger" as the 19th Project Tiger Reserve.
A total of 758 sq. km of this Southern Indian tropical moist deciduous forest has its extent mingling with the tropical dry deciduous teak. The area is crisscrossed by a number of streams and 'nallahs' most of which are seasonal. Though the Pench River dries up at April end, a number of water pools locally known as 'dohs' are found which serve as water holes for the wild animals. However, the water sources are not suitably distributed, hence the large area is left unutilized by the wild animals.
Lunch will be served at the hotel.
In the afternoon proceed for a Jeep Safari into Pench National Park.
DAY 5: PENCH-TADOBA
Proceed for an early morning Jeep Safari inside the Pench National park.
After breakfast, drive to Tadoba National Park passing through the city of Nagpur.
TADOBA NATIONAL PARK is Maharashtra's oldest National Park created in 1955. It is also one of India's 25 Project Tiger Reserves. The National Park is 623 sq. km in area, consisting of two forested rectangles of the Tadoba and Andhari ranges. Thickly clad hills form the north and western boundary of the Tiger Reserve. Tadoba Tiger Reserve is an undisturbed forest as it is not visited by many tourists. Once a carnivore is sighted, either on drives or from machns, you can spend undisturbed hours observing it.

Your Destination —
New Delhi
A trip to New Delhi, India's dynamic capital, will introduce you to teeming bazaars, tree-lined boulevards, fascinating temples and historically important mosques. Somewhere between a place of intense spirituality and a dynamic eastern metropolis, this city offers something for all its visitors.
Its turbulent history is reflected in a wide variety of architectural styles, which testify to how the city has been destroyed and rebuilt many times. To see an example of the city's diverse cultural heritage, visit the Qutab Minar. This sandstone and marble brick minaret marked the beginning of Muslim rule in India. A short distance away, walkable by rickshaw, is the Presidential Palace (Rashtrapati Bhavan), where you can see the English and Indian architectural influences that characterise much of New Delhi. Walking along Rajpath Avenue (the King's Way), one can admire the Gateway of India, the monument to the Indian nation.
