New Voyage Privé —
Carefully selected by our experts especially for you
Your Destination —
Explore Iceland's glittering glaciers, snow-tipped mountains, vast volcanic lava fields, pluming hot springs and sparkling plunge waterfalls including the iconic Gullfoss, the Golden Fall.
Bathe in the mineral rich geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon, walk on black lava beaches skirted with white foam, see multi-coloured herds of Icelandic horses, the famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano. And of course not forgetting a couple of nights in the city we call 'Latitude with Attitude', Reykjavik.
Get the best chance of catching the Northern Lights from the vast unpopulated south of Iceland, away from any and all urban light population. Search for them with the help of a local guide and gripper spikes to keep you sure of foot and a torchlight to guide you through the dark. Have the chance to capture the dancing aurora on film for memories that will last a lifetime and a second chance to catch them again on an optional off shore cruise.
Your Tours —
Northern Lights Excursion
Duration: 3-5hrs
The Northern Lights Tour takes you out of Reykjavik city to the best places to see Northern Lights and witness one of nature’s most spectacular displays.
The season for Northern Lights in Iceland extends from the tail end of the summer from September through winter and well into April. The best time to see Northern Lights is in the middle of winter when the weather is the coldest and when it is the darkest. Crisp cold evenings with skies clear enough to see stars is a prime indicator for auroral activity.
Please note: We cannot guarantee sightings even if the Northern lights tour is operated.
Blue Lagoon Excursion
The Blue Lagoon offers a variety of recreational options besides bathing in its milky blue waters. You can take a walk in the Lagoon’s spectacular surroundings, relaxing in a geothermal steam bath or release the stress from your shoulders under the Blue Lagoon's waterfall.
On site there is also a fantastic restaurant with a la carte menu and a Blue Lagoon shop, selling skin care products based on a unique blend of Blue Lagoon geothermal seawater active ingredients: minerals, silica, and algae.
Bathrobe, towel, bathing suit & slippers can be rented onsite.
Ice Cave Tour (Optional Extra)
Pick up: 07:45
The caverns are composed of an extensive system of tunnels and chambers that stretch close to 300 metres into the solid ice cap towards a breathtaking natural Ice Cave at the heart of the glacier.
Making your way inside the glacier, you’ll be able to explore various nooks and chambers and walk over a huge ice crevasse on a specially constructed bridge. As you walk further along the tunnel, the ice gets older and its colour gradually changes from white to deep-blue.
Golden Circle Tour (Optional Extra)
Duration: 8.5hrs
Included: Entrance fee to the Geothermal Energy Exhibition at Hellsheidi Geothermal Power Station
Excluded: Lunch, but you are welcome to bring lunch with you or there is an opportunity to buy a hot meal at the lunch stop
Gullfoss waterfall
Geysir and Strokkur hot springs
Skálholt medieval church
Nesjavellir Geothermal power station
The Golden Circle tour showcases some of Iceland's most popular tourist attractions including the country's best known natural, cultural, and historic sites.
From Reykjavik the Golden Circle tour takes you right up to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site where the tectonic plates of Europe and North America meet and one of the world's oldest parliament was founded in 930 AD.
You‘re then treated up close and personal to one of Iceland‘s largest personalities: Gullfoss (Golden Falls). Majestic and thunderous, the force and beauty of this two-tiered waterfall will be something your camera wants to linger on.
Lunch break is usually at Gullfoss Cafe near Gullfoss waterfall, but in some cases a stop is made for lunch at the Information Center by Geysir geothermal area.
Next up is Geysir geothermal area, home of the famous Geysir and Strokkur hot springs. The Strokkur hot spring erupts every 5 minutes or so, making it one of the most active geyser.
From Geysir area the Golden Circle tour proceeds to Skálholt Church which was the seat of religious power in Iceland for centuries and where some of the most dramatic events in Iceland's history took place.
On the way back to Reykjavik you'll get a chance to visit Hellisheiði at the foot of Mt. Hengill Volcano where earth's most brutal forces are harnessed and converted to clean energy for space heating. (During winter season weather and road conditions dictate visits to Nesjavellir)
Helicopter Tour (Optional Extra)
At Mount Esja the helicopter makes a landing so you can enjoy the view of the Reykjavik city area, the rugged coastline and the big blue horizon. Be sure to bring your camera to capture the stunning views out to the barren moonscape of Reykjanes peninsula.
