In the heart of the city of Reykjavik, the Hotel Apotek resides inside a historic building, one of the oldest in the city actually, that was designed by the famous architect Gudjón Samúelsson. The character of this 4* establishment is evident as you take in all five of its modern and inviting floors. Decorative elements from the past add a historic touch to the spaces to plunge you into an environment that is as agreeable as possible. You will return home more than enchanted from your stay at the Hotel Apotek!

Sleep

The interior decor of the Apotek Hotel is host to a modern and sophisticated style, peppered with classic touches that evoke the building's exterior facade.

- Standard Single Room (11 m² / max 1 person): Quaint and inviting, this beautiful Standard Single Room will know how to please those traveling alone in search of adventure.

- Standard Double Room (18 m² / max 2 persons): Decorated with taste in grey tones, the Standard Double Room is a perfect home away from home in which you will find peace and serenity.

- Superior Room (20 m² / max 2 persons): Equipped with modern and luxurious fittings, the Superior Room offers  cozy and comfortable spaces.

- Deluxe Room  (25 m² / max 2 persons): Unpack your bags in this bright Deluxe Room that has its own pleasant living area. It offers you an unobstructed view of Austurvöllur Square or Austurstræti Street.

- Junior Suite (32 m² / max 2 persons): Treat yourself to the ultimate in comfort in the Junior Suite. Everything here has been thought out and designed so that your stay at the Apotek Hotel will be as agreeable as possible. Enjoy your living area, perfect for relaxing after a day rich in discovery.

Please note: the bed for the 3rd/4th guest sharing is likely to be a sofa bed or camp style bed.

So that your stay at the Hotel Apotek will unfold in the best conditions possible, we have negotiated free access to the spa and fitness room (see conditions at the hotel) for you. To prolong the pleasure and treat you to a real moment of relaxation, you will also benefit from a 15% reduction on the personal treatments provided in the spa. For your excursions, the reception personnel at the Hotel Apotek will be more than happy to point you in the right direction and give you tips on where to go and what to see in the city and surrounding areas.

You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

By train:
The Reykjavik international airport is about 2.5 km, or about 7 minutes, from the hotel.

Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours. Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible. 

Accommodation Only:
You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Flight Inclusive Offers
The airline is ticket-less and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website. You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents. We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
