Also known as Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights is a mysterious natural phenomenon that is only visible from the far reaches of the northern hemisphere on clear nights between September and April.

Iceland is the perfect place to go hunting for a glimpse of nature's version of a fireworks display, and this trip led by expert guides will take you out into the dark Icelandic wilderness, giving you the best chance to witness these magnificent auroras as they dance across the sky. On the clearest nights you will see the lights swirling across the horizon in dramatic colours, shapes, patterns and sizes.

Ísafold Bistro is a new and trendy restaurant located at CenterHotel Thingholt. The menu differs around the year to introduce in-season products that makes the delicious dishes served at Ísafold Bistro fresh as possible with local ingredients.  

The restaurant is located inside the hotel which makes the environment exceptionally alive with its international theme, yet still keeping its strong connection to all things Icelandic. The connection reveales itself with the beautiful interior decor inspired by Icelandic nature. This, in combination with the music being played, complements the fresh Icelandic cuisine served.  

The bar area offers the opportunity to relax with a drink or two from an impressive selection of cocktails, wines and spirits before or after dinner.

Your Time —

A new SPA & gym was recently added to CenterHotel Þingholt. The award-winning Icelandic architects at The Batterí designed the SPA and the inspiration for its design is, of course, the Icelandic nature, with dark lava, caves and waterfalls.

Ísafold SPA is richly equipped with a sauna, hot tub, rainwater shower and a gym. Visiting the SPA offers you the perfect way to nurture your body, mind and soul by working out in the state of the art on-site fitness centre or by relaxing in the hot tub and the sauna.

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our Meet and Greet service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Your Contract —

The flight inclusive offer(s) shown on this page are ATOL Protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Voyage Privé is acting as agent for Viva Holidays with ATOL number 10531 and your contract is with that company.

Travel Documents —

Once the booking process is complete, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from Voyage Prive detailing your chosen travel arrangements.

Your official ATOL receipt and booking confirmation issued by the Tour Operator will follow within 5 days.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure. Generally, travel documents are sent via email however, in some cases they will be sent by post.

If you have booked Meet & Greet, you will receive a separate voucher for this via email.

Please do make sure that you add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list and check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.
