Inhabited by the Venetians for about 500 years, Tinos still has plenty of beautiful pigeon houses originating from this era and many Catholic villages. Tinos is famous for its white and grey marble which is taken from the marble quarries in the north of the island and is even fitted in Buckingham Palace and the Paris Louvre.
Tinos houses the most important church of Greece, the impressive “Evangellistria” which was built for the miraculous icon “Megalochari”.

Mykonos —
The skyline of Mykonos, characterised by windmills and whitewashed houses, is one of the most famous sights in Greece. But behind the island's beautiful exterior lies more. While the island's capital, Chora, is a maze of cobbled streets and cosmopolitan restaurants and bars, travellers can find tranquil beaches and unspoilt towns along the island's 80km coastline.
Just 12 km from the capital is Lia Beach, a secluded stretch of beach perfect for those who want to swim and enjoy the sun. Near Kalafati, you will also find a larger beach that offers plenty of opportunities for exciting water sports. End your day on the northern tip of the island at the atmospheric Armenistis Lighthouse, the perfect spot for a breathtaking Greek sunset over the Aegean Sea.
