As you embark on your exciting Cuban adventure, you may be travelling by shared bus between hotels (please refer to your itinerary for clarification). Our dedicated representative will provide you with all the necessary details about the schedule and meeting times. We do kindly advise that unforeseen delays may occur due to traffic, however, rest assured that we will do our utmost to minimise any inconvenience caused. Regarding the culinary offerings and buffets, it is important to note that Cuba is currently under embargo, which may affect the variety of dishes available. Yet, we believe that this only adds to the charm and authenticity of the island, providing a unique and enriching experience for all.

Havana
Day 1: Havana
Welcome to Havana – the capital city of Cuba, located on the northwestern coast of the island in the Caribbean Sea. It is not only the largest city in Cuba but also serves as the political, economic, and cultural center of the country. Havana has a rich and complex history, making it a fascinating and vibrant place to visit.
Havana is renowned for its stunning and diverse architecture, reflecting its colonial past, Spanish influence, and various historical periods. The city features a mix of architectural styles, including Baroque, Neoclassical, Art Deco, and Colonial. The historic Old Havana (Habana Vieja) district is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it's a treasure trove of beautifully preserved buildings and cobblestone streets.

Day 2: Havana

Day 3: Havana
Take today to discover vibrant and colourful Havana at your own pace. The city is known for its vibrant cultural scene, which includes music, dance, and visual arts. The city is famous for its lively music, especially the traditional Cuban genres like salsa, son cubano, and rumba. The Buena Vista Social Club, a group of veteran Cuban musicians, gained international fame for their traditional Cuban music in the late 1990s. Cuban dance forms like salsa and mambo also have their roots in Havana.
Visit historic sites such as the Castillo de la Real Fuerza, the Capitolio Nacional, and the Revolution Museum, among others.

Day 4: Havana - Trinidad
Today, you'll travel to Trinidad – a picturesque town located on the southern coast of Cuba, in the province of Sancti Spíritus. It is one of the country's most well-preserved colonial cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trinidad is known for its charming cobblestone streets, colorful colonial buildings, and rich history, making it a popular destination for tourists interested in Cuba's colonial past and culture.
Trinidad is close to beautiful Caribbean beaches, such as Playa Ancón, which is about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) away. These beaches offer opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxation.

Trinidad

Discover the charming city of Trinidad, one of the first villages founded in Cuba more than 500 years ago, which still retains the colonial essence in its streets and buildings.
You will visit the 'Palacio Cantero' museum, the city's colonial square and enjoy Canchánchara (not included), the traditional drink of the region, and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant (extra charge).

Day 7: Trinidad - Cayo Santa María

Full day exploring the Vinales Valley (Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday)
Take advantage of this option to visit the picturesque areas of Vinales, with Las Barrigona and its tobacco plantations, the prehistoric ruins of Pita and the Sierra de los Organos.
Excursion to Trinidad: Visit to the city and its legendary colonial squares (lunch included)
Visit Trinidad in a different way and appreciate the city's colonial architecture and culture: you will visit extremely interesting and historical places such as Plaza Jigue, Plaza Mayor, Plaza Santa Ana, Plaza Segarte...
Excursion to Sugar Mills Valley Area (minimum 2 people)
Depart by bus to visit the Sugar Mills Valley area. Visit to the La Loma del Puerto observation point. Visit to the San Isidro de los Destiladeros farm, considered to be the most important archaeological museum in the area, showing the ruins of an old sugar mill.Visit to the ManacaIznaga site with a climb to the tower (optional) and the Buena Vista farm, in front of the Cantero family, one of the richest families of the time. Return to Trinidad to visit the pottery workshop to open one of the city's most beautiful arts.
Excursion to Guanayara (minimum 2 people) with lunch included
Depart at 9am for Topes de Collantes by bus to the main office to change transport. Visit to the coffee house. A walking tour through the beautiful rainforest on the ecological path ¨Centinelas del Río Melodioso¨ with the accompaniment of a flora and fauna expert guide (approx. 5 km route). Afterwards, enjoy free time for swimming at ¨la poza del Venado¨ and at the enchanting ¨Salto del Rocio waterfall¨. Lunch at "La Gallega" house (drinks not included). Stop at the belvedere overlooking the Caribbean Sea to enjoy a magnificent view before returning to the city.

You will be able to choose your airline and flight times when you make your booking. This flight may include one or more stopovers. The stopover may be technical (without a change of aircraft) or transit (with a change of aircraft).
Luggage information
Baggage, meals and other services on board certain flights may be subject to a charge. You will find out whether your airfare includes baggage when you choose your airline and timetable. If your fare does not include baggage, please go to the airline's website before your departure with your travel file reference to find out the exact fare and purchase your extra baggage. If you choose a low-cost airline, you will be able to add your baggage during the booking process. For domestic flights, airlines do not always offer the option of reserving baggage, so you will have to pay for it at the airport counter.
