Varadero
Varadero is the home of all inclusive, relaxation-focused resorts in Cuba. Nestled atop 20 km of Atlantic Ocean coastline, Varadero is pivotal to the success of Cuba's economy, and promises a year-round tropical climate, an expansive stretch of soft, white sand, and stunningly blue waters.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW ABOUT CUBA :
We would like to inform you that the quality of hotels in Cuba may be slightly below the quality of services you can find in other countries.
Foreign currency can be brought into the country and its amount must be declared from the sum of 5,000 (five thousand) US dollars. However, it is forbidden to use foreign currency for regular exchanges. Currency must be exchanged in banks or exchange offices (called CADECA). It is preferable to travel with euros rather than dollars, as banks have temporarily suspended deposits in US dollars.
The legal currency in Cuba is the Cuban peso (CUP). However, some companies offer their products in freely convertible currency (MLC) for which it is necessary to use an international credit card, as they do not accept cash payments with foreign currency.
Credit cards issued by banks or credit institutions in the United States are not valid. VISA credit cards are accepted in some establishments, so it is advisable to ask for the final amount of the transaction before using them. In any case, the use of credit or debit cards is not widespread in Cuba, so it is necessary to anticipate having to make some of the payments in cash.
The prohibition of using the US dollar in cash in Cuba is recalled. Transactions can be made in freely convertible currencies allowed in the country such as the Canadian dollar, the euro, the pound sterling, the Japanese yen and the Mexican peso.
For months now, prepaid cards in freely convertible currencies (MLC) have been available, which can be purchased by tourists at exchange offices in airports, marinas and tourist areas, and used to pay for services in the Cuban territory. These cards are valid for two years and the amount not used by the traveler upon departure from the country will be refunded if desired.
VISA
The tourist card is the equivalent of an entry visa for Cuba. Anyone wishing to visit Cuba for a tourist stay of no more than 30 days must be in possession of a tourist card (nominative) for Cuba, issued for a fee by the Cuban Consulate in Paris and by French tour operators approved by the Cuban authorities. Be sure not to exceed the maximum stay (30 days), as this may be detained by the immigration authorities at the time of departure.
It is possible to renew your tourist card on the spot, by presenting your valid passport, your tourist card, a certificate of accommodation in a licensed hotel or guesthouse, the insurance certificate, and 625 Cuban pesos in tax stamps (to be purchased in post offices).
OTHER INFORMATION
For people with reduced mobility, prior to any confirmation, we invite you to contact the reservation department to check the availability and adaptability or not of the trip to your situation.
The Cuban government requires travelers (foreigners or Cubans residing abroad) to have travel insurance that includes coverage for medical expenses. Travelers should therefore carry a certificate of travel insurance including medical expenses or health insurance covering Cuba. Upon arrival at the airport, the Cuban authorities may ask you for the official paper certificate of the insurer.
