The capital, Havana, is full of colour and culture, and offers a warm welcome. After a few days here, head south-east of the island, to the city of Trinidad. Discover the remains of the island's colonial history and explore the treasures of this charming city before relaxing on the beach.
Your itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Havana
- Upon arrival in the Cuban capital, you'll be met by a representative. A shuttle transfer will take you from the airport to your hotel for check-in.
- Unwind, relax, and enjoy the salty breeze drifting in from the Caribbean. Head out to explore lively Havana, where salsa music drifts through the colourful streets, and a refreshing mojito awaits.
Day 2: Havana
- Start your first day with breakfast and a morning briefing, preparing you for the rest of your stay.
- Set off on a one-hour sightseeing tour in an iconic, shining classic car, and cruise through the streets of Havana, discovering the city from a different angle.
- In the evening, choose to add a fabulous tropicana show to your itinerary. This excursion is not included, but can be booked at the next stage of the booking process.
Day 3: Havana
- After breakfast, take the day to discover Havana at your own pace. Discover the capital's most emblematic landmarks, like Revolution Square, the Capitol, the Gran Teatro ‘Alicia Alonso’ or the districts of Vedado, Centro Habana and Playa.
- Choose to add a visit to one of the famous cigar factories (open Monday to Friday) or stroll through ‘Old Havana’, visiting its four squares and the Havana Club rum museum.
Day 4: Havana - Trinidad
- After an early breakfast, leave for Trinidad at around 6.30am, in your included transfer.
- Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day exploring this charming city, where pastel-coloured colonial architecture offers an insight into the island's past. Charming sun-drenched plazas and charming rooftop bars, perfect for watching the sunset.
Day 5 & 6: Trinidad
- After breakfast, explore the historic centre of Trinidad. Visit Plaza Mayor, Trinidad's heart, or Museo Romántico, a 19th-century mansion, now a museum. Or, head out to the lush and leafy jungles of nearby Topes de Collanted National Park, where stunning waterfalls cascade into refreshing pools, perfect after a long hike.
Day 7/10/12/14: Trinidad - Havana (depending on the length of your stay)
- Take your return transfer back to Havana in the afternoon (journey time: approx. 4 hours). Enjoy a final evening in Havana, soaking up the unique atmosphere and culture.
Day 8/11/13/15: Departure
- Breakfast
- Take a shared transfer from your hotel to Havana Airport for your flight home, after an unforgettable trip of Caribbean sunshine, music, and soul.

Discover the Viñales Valley

Walk through the Viñales Valley, declared a UNESCO-protected cultural landscape and a national natural monument.
Visit the Casa del Veguero, where you can sip a welcome cocktail and appreciate the tobacco plantations grown there. Visit to the Mirador de Los Jazmines, a place offering a beautiful general view of the Viñales valley, before visiting the Grotta del Indiano, with a boat trip on the river that runs through it.
Tuck into lunch (drinks not included) in a local restaurant, then visit the prehistoric fresco showing the evolution of life in the Sierra de los Organs, from molluscs to the first indigenous inhabitants of the area.

Trinidad, Aroma and Tradition

Visit the Cigar House, a specialist shop where you will learn mainly about how Cuba makes the different types of cigar that are well known all around the world. You will learn a bit of history about how production began by the hand of a cigar grower. You'll even get a souvenir home with you, too.
Stroll along the cobbled street to appreciate the beauty of the architectural style of the historic part of the city. Before heading back, visit the bar ¨La Canchanchara¨ to enjoy Trinidadian music and the city's famous cocktail. You will then have free time to visit the flea market and take lots of photos.
