7-Night Itinerary —
Arrival at the airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Accommodation at the hotel.
Day 2: Bogotá
Continental breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Paloquemao market with local guide. It is the largest flower market in the country, go there early to experience the excitement of a traditional market in the heart of the Colombian capital. Taste an exotic fruit juice and empanada (salted cornmeal fritter) or a chicken stew for the bravest!Lunch at leisure: suggestion: ajiaco, a typical soup made of chicken and potatoes, typical of Bogotá.
In the afternoon, visit Bolivar Square, where the National Capitol, the Palace of Justice, the Town Hall of Bogotá, the Cathedral "Primada", the Chapel "del Sagrario" and the Palace of l´Archevêché are located. We discover the neo-classical facade of the Colon Theatre and the splendid church of Santa Clara (about 2 hours of visit / external visits of the monuments). Discover the Chorro de Quevedo square and its colorful surroundings, allowing you to appreciate the Bogotanese life, mixing artistic places and Colombian culture.
Then go to Peluquería, a unique and alternative creative space in Bogota created in 2008 by a group of women artists. We will be able to discover this place where a hairdresser, a café, a bookshop and an artistic space coexist, and which also lends itself to the organization of certain events. Dinner at the house. Overnight at the hotel.
Continental breakfast at the hotel. Take the way to the airport to catch flight to Santa Marta. Take the road to Tayrona Park, located about 1 hour from Santa Marta, and settle in finca. Late afternoon free. Dinner included at the finca. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Tayrona National Park
Breakfast at the finca. You will enjoy your free day in the heart of Tayrona National Park. Dinner included at the finca. Night at the finca.
Continental breakfast at the finca. Take the road towards Cartagena de Indias. Once you arrive at Cartagena Airport, take private transport to our hotel, where you settle in. Cartagena de Indias, a colonial jewel on the Colombian Caribbean coast, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984 and it is understandable why. The buildings recall the splendour of the colonial era, with their superb carved wooden balconies, wooden doors opening onto sumptuous patios. Afternoon free. Dinner on the house. Overnight at hotel.
Days 6 & 7: Carthagena
Buffet breakfasts at the hotel. Free days, you will enjoy these days according to your desires and your rhythm. Free lunches and dinners. Nights at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have the day off to enjoy your last moments in the pearl of the Caribbean. Lunch and dinner free to do as you please. A transfer will take you to Cartagena airport, where you will take the flight back home.
Baru Island Extension —
Same as the itinerary for 7 nights until day 8.
Breakfast at the hotel. This afternoon, leave the hotel in Cartagena and travel to the Barú peninsula by private transport. Settle down at hotel and take advantage of the day to relax on the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Days 9-10, 9-12 or 9-14 – Baru Peninsula
Breakfasts at the hotel. Free days. Enjoy the activities offered by the hotel: kayaking, snorkeling, table tennis, games room. Nights at hotel.
Day 11, 13 or 15 – Baru Peninsula - Carthagena – Flight Back
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning free. Transfer from Baru to Cartagena airport for the return flight.

Also see the city center and visit the most important monuments such as Torre del Reloj, official entrance of the fortified city. Behind it, we can see the statue of Don Pedro de Heredia, the conquistador and founder of Cartagena (1533). The guide will explain in more detail the history of the founding of Cartagena through stories filled with legends and piracy.
