Your Itinerary —

During their tour, our members will follow the itinerary as seen below.

Day 1: Arrival in Panama
Upon arrival at Tocumen International Airport, take a shuttle transfer to the city centre and check-in to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, and enjoy an overnight stay in Panama City.

Day 2: Panama City
After breakfast, head out to explore both the modern and the ancient parts of Panama City. Head to the Amador Peninsula to view one side of the city, and enjoy the historic district of Casca Viejo, a UNESCO listed site, to see the other. Your driver will then return you to the hotel where you can spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Panama City.
Day 3: Panama City - Medellin, Colombia
Depart via a shuttle service in the morning and catch a flight from Panama to Medellin, Colombia. Transfer to the centre of Medellin and explore the city in the afternoon. Spend the evening at leisure, exploring the many local restaurants and bars. Overnight stay in Medellin.

Day 4: Antioquia & Guatape
Depart at 8 am, and head to the countryside of the Antioquia region. Take a break on the road to sample a traditional Colombian breakfast, and then visit the artificial lake. Seek out the destroyed boat of Pablo Escobar, and then head to the the Piedra del Penol, a gigantic rock that is 220 metres high. Climbs 740 steps amidst coffee plantations and other flower crops to reach the top, and then sample a typical lunch on site. Your next stop will be the colourful city of Guatape, an architectural miracle where you can admire the finely crafted houses. Return in the late afternoon to Medellin and enjoy a free evening. Overnight stay in Medellin.
Day 5: Medellin
In the day, use Medellin's cable cars to discover the city's park, historic districts, and unusual places from up above. Return in the late afternoon to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Medellin.

Day 6: Medellin - Panama
Depart in the morning for the airport, where you will take a flight back to Panama. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: San Blas
Depart around 5:30am in a 4X4 and cross to jungle to head from the Pacific to the Atlantic. Drive alongside the border with the territory of Guna Yala and arrive at the port, where you'll make your way to your island. Check-in to your cabana and enjoy a traditional dinner and overnight stay on site.
Day 8: San Blas
Your guide will pick you up around 10 am, so you can visit other islands in the archipelago, take lunch and then swim at the natural high ground 'piscina' where there are starfish. Return in the afternoon to the port and then to Panama City for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Panama Canal - Departure
Depart by shuttle to the locks of Miraflores to visit the museum, observe the passage of the boats and see this incredible work. Then, drive to the jungle of Gamboa to take a small boat along the Panama Canal, so you can discover the island of monkeys. Then, return to Panama City and head to the airport to catch your return flight home.

Entry Requirements 


You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 


If your passport describes you as a British Citizen, you don’t need a visa to enter Panama unless you are arriving by sea. You must have a return or onward ticket and the equivalent of US$500 or a credit card.


If you enter Panama by land from Costa Rica and are not a legal resident of Costa Rica, the immigration authorities may ask you to show proof of onward or return travel to your country of legal residence.


If you arrive in Panama by sea, except via a cruise line, you will need a visa. There is a fee of $100 plus $5 registration per person for passengers and crew members of vessels.


If you choose a flight which routes via the USA and are travelling under the Visa Waiver Programme (VWP), you must obtain an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) prior to departure. Passengers who have not received travel authorisation via ESTA prior to travel will be denied boarding. Please note that if you are denied from boarding, or are not allowed into the US for any reason, you will still be subject to our cancellation charges in accordance with our terms and conditions. 


Airport tax


A US$40 airport tax (payable only in cash) is charged on departure. This is usually included in the airline ticket fare. Check with your carrier.
