Day 1 : Arrive in Sofia
Touch down in Sofia airport in the buzzing capital of Bulgaria, sprawling at the foot of Vitosha, a great mountain rising up to the sky. Collect your rental car, and enjoy your first night in Sofia.
Day 2 : Sofia – Plovdiv
Plovdiv is one of the oldest cities in Europe, predating ancient Rome and Athens. Awarded European Capital of Culture in 2019, the city boasts unique rust-coloured architecture and a charming old town where winding streets weave through the historic buildings. Other attractions include a large number of museums, a Roman stadium and theatre, and the church of St. Constantine and St. Helena.
Day 3 : Plovdiv – Veliko Tarnovo
Day 4 : Veliko Tarnovo – Ruse – Bucharest
