Welcome to Tasmania! This island located south of Australia is know for its untamed nature, classified as part of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites, its food and wines, compact cities and fresh air. You will be on the waterfront in Hobart, the historic capital of Tasmania.  Visit Battery Point, Hobart's oldest district, climb Mount Wellington or head out to explore one of the numerous national parks in Tasmania in the hopes of coming across a Tasmanian devil, a little marsupial with red ears that exists no where else in the world!

Your Hotel —

Bring your bags to one of the incredible MONA pavilions, the Museum of Old and New Art. You will be astonished by these ultra contemporary buildings, of strange and original shapes...They have incredible panoramic views and sport an ultra modern decoration signed by Philippe Starck, Patricia Uquiola and Ron Arad. The perfect refuge for lovers of art and anything contemporary. Come and live an astonishing experience first hand!

Sleep

Get comfortable in one of the MONA's 9 stylish and avant-garde designed pavilions, each one named after an influential Australian artist or an architect. They all have a kitchen, private wine cellar , and a balcony equipped with a whirlpool spa.

- Sidney (50 m² / max. 2 persons): Inspired by the artist Sidney Nolan whose artwork is displayed in the museum, this suite has a double bed and a whirlpool spa.

- Brett (120 m² / 4 persons of which 3 adults): Discover the paintings of Brett Whitely who was the inspiration behind this suite, it has two double beds and a whirlpool spa.

- Arthur (50 m² / max. 2 persons): Looking over the Derwent River, this suite has artwork from Arthur Boyd on exposition, it has a double bed and a whirlpool spa.

- Charles (120 m² / max 4 persons of which 3 adults): Benefit from 2 double beds, a whirlpool spa and artwork by Charles Blackman in the magnificent pavilion.

- Esmond or Robin (50 m² / max. 2 persons): Admire the metal and glass structure, the Australian beams and the period furniture handmade in Tasmania for these suites.

-Walter (120 m² / max. 4 persons): You will enjoy this suite that possesses the same characteristics as that of Esmond or Robin, but twice as spacious and can accommodate up to 4 persons.

-Roy (175 m 2 / max. 4 persons): Treat yourself to the luxury of this immense suite with Australian video art on display and period furniture handmade in Tasmania.

Please note: the bed for the 3rd/4th guest sharing is likely to be a sofa bed or camp style bed.

Taste

Find a table in the Source restaurant that puts an accent on local products of the season, and taste a cuisine inspired by French gastronomy designed to be accompanied by a wine from their long list available. There is a little bonus too, a fantastic view of the museum's grounds. The MONA also a "brasserie", the Moo Brew Beer as well as an organic winery, the Moorilla Wine. And for maximum satisfaction, you will benefit from a complimentary guided visit of the winery, followed by a wine tasting, and also a beer tasting at the Moo Brew.

Experience

A magnificent cultural and relaxing vacation is in store for you if you stay in one of these pavilions. Starting with your designer lodgings done in an avant garde style that boasts artwork from the museum's collection. Visit the fabulous Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) before relaxing by the hotel's zero-edge pool, followed by a few moments in the sauna. Interested in keep your fitness up? Then head to the fitness centre! You will return to your suite relaxed and soothed...
You will also have priority access to the MONA museum, so don't hesitate any longer!

-Hobart International Airport is located about 30 minutes away

Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours. Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible. 

Accommodation Only:
You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Flight Inclusive Offers
The airline is ticket-less and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website. You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents. We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
