Commence the scenic drive south-west of Melbourne and onto spectacular views of the Southern Ocean known as the Surf Coast. Arrive at Split Point Lighthouse for a photo opportunity and coffee break (own expense). Wildlife in the area depending on the season may include whales, dolphins, kangaroos, echidnas and many different birds. Arrive at Apollo Bay for lunch (own expense), then see koalas and kangaroos up close on the Eucalyptus Forest. Walk at the renowned Great Ocean Road Ecolodge. Then visit the spectacular Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge, the site of the most famous 19th-century Australian shipwreck. Phillip Island Full Day Tour

Your vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence a full day Phillip Island Tour. Arrive at Nobbies to view spectacular coastal scenery and two rocky outcrops abundant in marine life. From the walkways, it may be possible to catch a glimpse of Australia's largest population of fur seals living amongst the coastline. During the summer months (November to March) you will have the opportunity to visit Cowes for a stroll along the pier or have dinner (own expense). Arrive at the Penguin Parade Visitors Centre and browse through the centre and learn about the little penguins and life on this island. Just before dusk watch as the Little Penguins battle the surf and make their way to their dune burrows after a day's fishing at sea. The elevated boardwalks and viewing stands allow you to enjoy all the penguin action without disturbing them. During winter months (April to October) dinner can be purchased at the cafeteria (own expense). Robert Pennicott's multi-award winning wilderness and wildlife cruise takes you along Bruny Island's rugged coast beneath some of Australia's highest sea cliffs to enter deep sea caves and join in the search for wildlife such as seals, dolphins and birds of prey. The custom built boats are ideal for viewing the spectacular coastline and wildlife with covered open-aired seating providing an excellent all round view and connection with the environment.

Board your vessel at the MONA Brooke Street Ferry Terminal and travel by high speed ferry to Mona. Enjoy a day of wine and art. The Museum of Old and New Art is Australia's largest privately owned gallery and museum. Showcasing the diverse collection of its owner, Tasmanian gambler and maths nerd David Walsh, Mona exhibits everything from ancient Egyptian funerary objects to modernist masterpieces. The Mona site, perched on the banks of the River Derwent is also home to the Moorilla winery and vineyard.

Arriving at Mona, begin your exploration of the underground galleries at your leisure. After your art binge, head to Mona's top notch restaurant at 1.30pm for a one course lunch of seasonal local produce, matched with a glass of Moorilla wine. After lunch take a behind the scenes tour of the winery and vineyard. Delve into Moorilla's back story with your expert host and learn the finer points of old and new artisan wine making techniques. You will be treated to a tasting of a selection of Moorilla wines, including a selection from their prestigious Cloth Label series. Board the 5.00pm ferry for the transfer back to Hobart.

Fly over the top of the Freycinet Peninsula on Tasmania's East Coast to discover pink granite mountains, secluded bays, crystal clear waters and pristine white beaches. Experience the exquisite beauty of Wineglass Bay, Tassie's most iconic white sand beach, before soaring over the seal colony at Ile Des Phoques towards Maria Island. Here you'll land and set off on an exploration of the island national park. Wander through forests of beautiful blue and white gums and keep your eyes peeled for rare and endangered species including the swift parrot and Tasmanian devil.

Kangaroos and wombats are often spotted roaming freely around the island. In an hour and a half you'll discover all of the highlights including the untouched beaches, convict history and remarkable shell fossil beds. Enjoy a gourmet seafood picnic and Tasmanian premium wine before re-boarding the plane for a scenic journey back to Hobart. Sydney Scenic Tour

Visit the historic rocks and discover the history of the first convicts. Enjoy beautiful views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge as you journey through the remarkable city of Sydney. You will pass the Queen Victoria Building, Sydney Tower, Oxford Street, and Paddington before arriving at the Pacific Ocean. Admire the beautiful cliffs along Tamarama and Bronte. The tour then continues on the famous Bondi Beach where you can stop for a refreshing beverage along the promenade (drinks are not included in this tour). Return to Sydney via Double Bay, Kings Cross, and Mrs Macquarie's Point for a magical view of the harbour before returning downtown.

Blue Mountains Deluxe Day Tour

The Blue Mountains are set in the heart of a unique world heritage region. The first stop in the morning is Euroka Clearing, located at the foot of the Blue Mountains in the incredible World Heritage Zone 2. Here you will enjoy a morning tea before taking the road to the Blue Mountains via the highway. Visit one of the many amazing perspectives of the Jamison Valley which offers beautiful views without the crowds. The tour then continues to Eaglehawk Lookout to admire the famous Three Sisters rock formation and learn the legends behind it.

Enjoy a two-course lunch at the Hydro Majestic Hotel, a casual dining spot with stunning views of the surrounding landscape (drinks are not included). In the afternoon you will visit a selection of lookouts. The view of Govett's Leap is one of Australia's most famous lookouts with a magnificent 180-metre high waterfall at the base of the cliff. The final stop is the charming Mt Tomah Botanical Garden, where you can relax with sparkling wine or orange juice before returning to your hotel.

Sydney Cruise with Local Lunch

Your host will share the rich history of Sydney Harbour and its foreshore as you journey past Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Opera House, and the bays and coves of Sydney Harbour. Freshwater - a scenic and relaxing picnic ground in the Great Sandy National Park where you might be visited by Lace Monitors (Goannas), Double Island Point Lighthouse offers breathtaking 360-degree views across the Pacific Ocean and scenic surrounds of the Great Sandy National Park. It is here we often spot pods of dolphins, turtles, sharks, manta rays and the majestic Humpback Whales (season is June-October). The Essentials of Brisbane by Bike

This two hour guided tour takes place along the Brisbane bike path, passing most of the city’s highlights. Along the way, you will learn about the history of the Brisbane and hear some fun facts from your knowledgeable guide.

This tour begins at 2 pm and ends at 4 pm at the Southbank Parklands Cultural Court.

One way rentals for GPS units are on a request basis only and a one way charge may apply. Optional Touring options have been suggested below. Please note that some tours require minimum numbers for the tour to go ahead.

  • Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) via your travel agent or airline. There is no visa application charge, but a service fee of A$20 applies

In certain circumstances, you may be asked to undergo a health examination before a visa can be granted, for example, if you are aged 75 years or older. Factor in extra time for this when applying for a visa.

Car Hire

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.
The minimum age for driving a hire car in Australia is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year.

The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver.  The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted).

The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit will be required.

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.

Your Contract

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.
