The hotel was lovely, beautiful grounds, very convenient from the A1, great food, very comfortable and the staff were very welcoming. Great place to explore Northumbria from with a good steer from the receptionist to go to Holy Island providing us with the tide times so we didn't get stuck there. We will be returning.
