As you embark on your exciting Cuban adventure, you may be travelling by shared bus between hotels (please refer to your itinerary for clarification). Our dedicated representative will provide you with all the necessary details about the schedule and meeting times. We do kindly advise that unforeseen delays may occur due to traffic, however, rest assured that we will do our utmost to minimise any inconvenience caused. Regarding the culinary offerings and buffets, it is important to note that Cuba is currently under embargo, which may affect the variety of dishes available. Yet, we believe that this only adds to the charm and authenticity of the island, providing a unique and enriching experience for all.
Your Itinerary in Detail —
Day 1-3
Day 1:
Upon arrival at Havana Airport, you will be welcomed by a member of Meeting Point Cuba's staff. Enjoy a private transfer from Havana airport to Melia Habana Hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast at your hotel, there will be an information meeting in the hotel's lobby.
At 11.30, you can enjoy a 1-hour sightseing tour in a classic car (without guide).

Day 3: Enjoy a day and your own pace to discover Havana.
Visit iconic spots in the country's capital such as the Plaza de la Revolución, the Capitol, the Gran Teatro "Alicia Alonso", the neighbourhoods of Vedado, Centro Havana and Playa. Discover a very special skill set when you enter a cigar factory (not included), which produces some of the finest and most well-known cigars in the world (open from Monday to Friday). Meanfering through majestic "Old Havana", you can visit its four squares and the "Havana Club" rum museum (not included, open from Monday to Friday).

Day 4-6
Day 4:
Your driver/guide will pick you up at the Melia Habana Hotel and accompany you to the city of Cienfuegos - founded in 1829 and also known as "La Perla del Sur".

Day 5:
After breakfast, it's time to set off on a tour the Guanaroca Trail. Head to the natural park "El Nicho" a place of extraordinary beauty, where the river and its abrupt relief form several waterfalls that run in steps, showing an impressive visual. You can enjoy a tour of the path "The kingdom of waters" and bathing time in its natural pools.
Enjoy lunch on-site and in the afternoon, return to the city of Cienfuegos.

Day 6:
After breakfast, your driver will take you to the city of Trinidad, which has been declared an Artisan City by UNESCO.
Tour the historic centre of the city, one of the first towns founded in Cuba that still preserves the colonial essence in its streets and its buildings. Visit the “Palacio Cantero” museum, the colonial square of the city and taste the Canchánchara (included), a traditional drink of the area. Continue your journey to the Manaca Iznaga hacienda, to enjoy a typical lunch, a tour of the hacienda and a visit to the Torre Mirador.

Day 7-End
Day 7:
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Casa Hacienda Guáimaro, the interpretation centre of the Valle de los Ingenios. Continue your journey to the Alturas de Banao Ecological Reserve. Enjoy a welcome cocktail and an explanation at the visitor centre, before embarking on a trek (on a mule or on foot) to the Bella Waterfall, where there will be bathing time with a complimentary cocktail and a typical lunch at the Ranchón Jarico.

Day 8:
Leave for the city of Santa Clara crossing the Escambray through Guinia de Miranda, and visit the “Santa Clara LV9” tobacco factory and the “Armored Train”. Have lunch at the Los Caneyes hotel and in the afternoon visit the Plaza de la Revolución "Ernesto Che Guevara".
Then it will be time to head to Varadero to check into your final hotel and enjoy the rest of your trip!

Day 11/13/15: Take the collective transfer from the Meliá Las Américas hotel to the Havana airport to take the departure flight.

Hemingway tour for 2 people
Follow in Hemingway's footsteps and first visit the writer's museum and former residence, located in the town of San Francisco de Paula.
Continue to Cojímar, a fishing village where Hemingway celebrated his Pulitzer Prize in 1953 with his friends and Gregorio, his captain who inspired his novel "El Viejo and the Sea".
On the way, you will pass by the Bodeguita del Medio and have lunch. To end your day, a visit to Floridita, where a signature daiquiri cocktail is included.
