Your Destinations —
Los Angeles is one of America's largest and most exciting cities and is well worth a visit. Being on the stunning Californian coastline Los Angeles boasts beautiful weather and amazing beaches displaying awe-inspiring beauty.
The city is know for Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Movie Stars galore, and offers and amazing array of studios, shopping and celebrity spotting.
A visit to the Grand Canyon is an unforgettable experience. The famous gorges, 450 km long and up to 30 km wide, are one of the most important natural wonders attracting approximately 4 million visitors from around the world annually.
Discover the canyon on horseback, on foot, helicopter or small plane. Layers of sand, limestone and Schist create its unique appearance and the ever shifting light from the sun and shadow create wonderful colorful images.
The Bryce Canyon National Park is located in the south west of the state Utah at an altitude of 2,400 to 2,700m. Despite the name it is not actually a canyon but a giant amphitheatre.
It was created by wind, water, and ice eroding the edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau, producing millions of pink rock pinnacles. These so called "hoodoos" are up to almost 60m in height and create a spectacular colorful show. The yellow, brown and red hues in the limestone are due to the abundance of iron in this region.
Monument Valley
Monument Valley, with its characteristic red table mountains, is truly a sight to behold. Created over thousands of years by the power of wind and water, it has long overwhelmed its visitors not only by its beauty, but also its size.
The fragile pinnacles of rock are surrounded by miles of mesas and buttes, shrubs, trees and windblown sand, all combining to create the magnificent colours of the valley.
Pulsing out of the sands like some crazy neon mirage, Las Vegas is globally synonymous with gambling, rock-star luxury and a 24-hour excess that has become a brand in its own right.
Nowhere throws a 365-day party quite like Vegas and those marketing taglines for 'the world's entertainment capital' aren't far off the truth. For a town stuck on its own at the southern tip of Nevada, it gives one hell of a decadent bang for its buck.
Death Valley
Death Valley is the lowest, driest and hottest area in North America. Its landscape is arid but also colorful with beautiful sand dunes, wild canyons, andsnow white mountain peaks. The rain clouds rarely pass the mountains but when a few drops of rain fall on the desert it turns into a blossoming garden.
Despite the harsh environmental conditions there are more than 1,000 different plants in the park, which have managed to adapt. After the sun sets, the temperature drops rapidly in the dry air.
Sequoia trees continue to impress visitors due to both their size and history in the Sequoia National Park. Located in Visalia, the area is said to be one of the most important agricultural trade markets in the well-known Central Valley.
Surrounded by groves of the world's largest living things, there's something truly magical about the Sequoia National Park.
Discover the huge granite formations and green trees of Yosemite National Park. Throughout the Park, you'll find endless scenic beauty, with opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, biking, horseback riding, and so much more!
Best known for its waterfalls, but within its nearly 1,200 square miles you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias and a vast wilderness area.
Cable cars, the Golden Gate rising from the fog - welcome to San Francisco, arguably the most romantic and cosmopolitan city in the United States.
San Francisco has it all: a colorful history, superb restaurants, sophisticated museums, world-class shopping, and that elusive air of romance and abandon that's part of the tang of the city.
