Al Waha - Located off the resort’s main block, Al Waha, meaning ‘oasis’ in Arabic serves popular international fare and local Arabic specialties. With a spectacular display of modern yet Arabesque interior design, diners can choose to dine indoors where floor-to-ceiling windows sets the stage for metres-high sand dunes, or on the outdoor terrace where an Arabic grill and spit-roast holds court.

Safran - Banyan Tree’s signature restaurant offering authentic Thai cuisine overlooks the nature reserve’s watering hole where the wildlife gathers, while dining conversations will turn naturally towards the antics of these nomadic creatures. Alternatively, Safran Tower, designed in the style of an Arabic watchtower, offers a romantic meal for two under a brilliant sky of dazzling stars.

Samar Lounge - A double-storey cove with atmospheric lighting and intimate cushioned corners, Samar Lounge features an exceptional wine selection from across the globe, as well as fine cigars and signature cocktails.

Moon Bar - Located on the upper deck of Samar Lounge is an exquisitely designed roof terrace lounge serving shisha. Overlooking the sprawling desert and rolling dunes, it is the perfect stage for watching a beautiful sunset while lounging on the spacious daybeds.

Destination Dining - Set atop vast sand dunes, this unique experience offers a night of desert dining under the vast Arabian sky. In true Bedouin-style, sit across a brilliant campfire while partaking in traditional dishes, song and dance, marking an exquisite and memorable dinner.

Banyan Tree Ras Al Khaima Beach - Located within a 20-minute drive from the resort, the beach offers a selection of recreational activities such as snorkelling, water-skiing, wake-boarding and sailing in the shimmering turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf. Schooner-chartering, fishing and scuba-diving trips can also be organised.  Guests who prefer to lounge by the private beach may do so in comfort at the bar.

Al Hamra Golf Club - The Al Hamra Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located just 20 minutes from the resort. Designed by Peter Harradine, the golf course is built around a large open sea water lagoon with four interconnected sub lagoons. It has five varying tee options, providing an inspirational session, whether you are an amateur or seasoned player. With a floodlit 9-hole course, golf doesn't stop when the sun sets! If it is more range practice you are after, enjoy the fully floodlit practice facilities before testing your short game prowess around the academy course. Flanked by panoramic views of the lagoon and undulating greens, our main clubhouse boasts two restaurants, separate men and ladies' locker rooms with rain-showers and lockers, a members-only sundeck, games room with pool table, and golf reservations desk.
