Manarat Al Saadiyat
Manarat Al Saadiyat literally means 'the place of enlightenment'. It is a 15,400 sqm visitor centre, designed to bring the vision of the island to life through the Saadiyat Story. The exhibition is on permanent display and provides visitors with an interactive narrative on the history and cultural vision behind the island. The venue is located just 5 minutes by car from the hotel. Special shuttle transfers can be arranged by hotel concierge.
Sheikh Zayed Mosque
Sheikh Zayed Mosque is one of the largest mosques in the world with a capacity for more than 40,000 worshippers. The grand mosque features 80 domes, about 1000 columns, 24 carat gold plated chandeliers and the world's largest hand woven carpet. Located a 25-minute drive away, this mosque is one of the most visited sites in the capital.

The grilled lamb was worth the wait and the slice of steak was delightfully well done. My companion, on the other hand, went gaga for sushi, steamed dumplings and unlimited fresh oysters. I’ve never seen fresh oysters served buffet style before so it was quite a rare treat.
Enjoy further variety with the award-winning Vietnamese restaurant, Hoi An, the all-day dining restaurant Sofra bld, and the elegant p&c by Sergi Arola with its traditional Spanish favourites.
