We take you on an unforgettable 11-night journey from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, where you will have the chance to see the endangered gorillas, half of which are found in Uganda.

Your Itinerary In Detail —
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport. You will be met and assisted by a UGANDA SAFARI CHAPTER representative and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe.
Overnight at Protea Hotel Entebbe or similar (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
DAY 2: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you will set off for the Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the second-largest park in Uganda after Murchison Falls National Park. This park boasts of some of the most magnificent views in the Western arm of the Great Rift Valley, it gushes with a remarkable variety of ecosystems, from semi-deciduous tropical forest to green meadows, savannahs and swamps.
Twin Lakes Safari Lodge is a rustic and intimate lodge set in the beautiful surroundings of the Bunyaruguru great crater field in Uganda. Located just outside the Queen Elizabeth National park at 270 m above the plains with breathtaking views of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lakes Edward and George, the Rwenzori Mountain ranges, the sunrise and sunsets here are simply amazing.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up to the sound of wild life, after a delicious breakfast, drive off for an interesting game drive. After lunch, you will get to experience a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel that connects both Lake Edward and Lake George.

DAY 4: ISHASHA SECTOR QENP
This day after breakfast you will be driven to Ishasha where you will see the tree climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, birds and many others.
Enjojo Lodge: the birth of a baby elephant on the land during the construction of the lodge led to the name ‘Enjojo Lodge’, which means ‘elephant’ in the local Rukiga language. The Lodge Borders the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, it offers a relaxed and comfortable retreat on 40 hectares of land in the middle of an acacia forest with scattered grassland and lush vegetation with palm trees.

Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, your safari guide will drive you southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. This rainforest is located in south-western Uganda, at the junction of the plain and mountain forests. The park covers 32,000 hectares and is known for its exceptional biodiversity, with more than 160 species of trees and over 100 species of ferns. Many types of birds and butterflies can also be found there, as well as many endangered species, including the mountain gorilla. Rushaga Gorilla Camp is a haven for trekking within the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a highlight of all visits done in Uganda and a reason why you should visit Uganda.

DAY 6: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST
Today after an energizing breakfast, you will have a once-in-a-lifetime experience of gorilla trekking, you will report to the ranger station before 8 am registration and briefing by one of the rangers; the guides will then lead you through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. The trek can take anywhere from half an hour to 7 hours – a reasonable degree of fitness is required, as well as a sturdy pair of walking boots. It is an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rainforest, knowing you are with a few of the last remaining mountain gorillas.

Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi
This day you will have a chance to visit the Switzerland of Africa located in Uganda and enjoy the soothing breezes of this beautiful Lake. The serenity of Lake Bunyonyi will relax your mind, its scenic views of relief and the surrounding islands at sunrise offer a rewarding adventure on its own, and with binoculars you can enjoy the plentiful birdlife plus the far-reaching islands on a canoe.
DAY 8: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
After your morning breakfast, we shall drive towards Lake Mburo National Park with a stopover for lunch and then proceed to the park. While in the park you will get the chance to see groups of zebras, Impalas, giraffes, buffaloes, Elands (An eland is also known to be the largest Antelope) etc. After checking in at the lodge, with a bit of relaxation you will drive out to embark on a 2-hour boat ride on Lake Mburo to sight of both land and water mammals such as Hippos, Buffaloes, birds in compliment of the scenic views with in the nature of Lake Mburo. This day we will have a night game drive through the park.
DAY 9: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
Early morning, you shall head for an early morning walk to see animals and wild nature on foot. After the experience you will return to the lodge for hot breakfast then head for a canoe ride to view both land and water mammals such as Hippos, Buffaloes, birds in compliment of the scenic views with in the nature of Lake Mburo.
DAY 10: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
This day, you will drive to Entebbe. On your way, you will do a stopover for shopping at the Equator souvenir shop before proceeding to your next stop.
DAY 11: DEPARTURE
You will spend your day resting at the lodge, and later in the night you will be transferred to the airport for your night flight.

Entebbe
Entebbe is a town on a peninsula on Lake Victoria in central Uganda. Beaches in the area include the busy Lido Beach, near Entebbe International Airport. The Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, located along the lake, protects native wetland, forest and savannah animals. Nearby, the Entebbe Botanical Garden has various plants, birds and monkeys. Also, nearby is the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which protects orphaned chimpanzees. You can visit all these locations and see the magnificent wild life that live here!
