Escape on a spectacular trip of sights, sea, sand and sun. Discover the mountainous valleys studded with plateaus and craggy peaks, and delve into the dry and immense desert or why don't you just lounge on the sandy beaches?
This incredible country will surprise you with its beautiful coast in Hammamet and the spectacular landscapes of Kairouan, a city in northern Tunisia’s inland desert. Discover the oases of Tozeur and Chebica or the salt lake of Chott el Jerid among some of the destinations that you will visit. 


A guide will accompany you along the way, with all your transportation organised, meaning that all you have to do is sit back and relax on this once in a lifetime trip.

Your Itinerary —

Day 1: Hammamet
Arrival in Tunisia. 
Welcome and transfer to hotel. Free day.
Dinner and overnight at Golden Tulip Taj Sultan 5*.
Day 2: Hammamet / Kairouan / Tozeur 
Breakfast.
Depart for Kairouan. Visit its Medina, Souks, 7th Century Grand Mosque.
After lunch, depart for Gafsa and then to Tozeur.
Dinner and overnight at Ras el Ain Hotel 4*.

Day 3: Tozeur
After Breakfast, visit Nefta Village, Tozeur Oasis and a Berber Medina in Tozeur in the morning.
Have Lunch then take advantage of some free time to explore in the afternoon.
You may also have the chance to take a 4x4 excursion to visit Mountain Oasis of Chebica and Tamerza, offered locally.
Dinner and overnight at Ras el Ain Hotel 4*.

Day 04 Tozeur / Matmata / Hammamet
After Breakfast, depart for Douz. To do so, you will cross the salt lake Chott el Jerid. In Douz, also called the "Desert Gate", go for a walk on the sand dunes.
The trip continues in Matmata with a visit to Berber troglodyte houses.
Lunch and transfer to hotel. 
Overnight at Golden Tulip Taj Sultan 5*.
In this area, you may recognise some of the locations. From the Star Wars films, the home of Luke Skywalker, the desert planet of ‘Tatooine’, director and filmmaker George Lucas chose the landscapes and native architecture of Tunisia. Tataouine is a real town, some miles south of the movie location in Matmata. Here, Luke's sunken home was filmed in a typical troglodyte home, and the interiors were filmed at the Sidi Driss Hotel.

Days 5 - 7: Hammamet
Spend time on the beach at your leisure on an all-inclusive board basis. 
Overnight at Golden Tulip Taj Sultan 5*.
Day 8: Tunis (Departure)
After the breakfast, transfer to Tunis Airport and take your flight back home.

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.
Please check all details on this confirmation are correct.  If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents.  You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
