Your Itinerary In Detail

Days 1 & 2

Welcome to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, where you can enjoy various activities such as visiting historical and cultural attractions. Meet your guide at the meeting point and transfer to the hotel (please note, most hotels have a 2pm check-in policy).

Enjoy your free day before the start of your trip tomorrow.

Overnight at hotel in Bangkok.

Join this must-do cycling tour of Bangkok, which will take you through some of the city's greatest contrasts. Meet your guide who waits for you at the Khlong Toei Pier. Here you will board a longtail boat and make it across the Chao Phaya River over to Bangkok's Jungle, Bang Krajao. You will be fitted with your premium quality bicycle.

You will quickly feel Bangkok Jungle in many ways is different from downtown - everything is quieter, cooler, local, and very tranquil: a wilderness of lush green jungle, mangroves, gardens, and nature. It's a wonderful place to ride a bicycle and breathe the fresh air.

Along the way, explore the elevated jungle pathways through coconut plantations, canals, and local communities. Stop-in and visit the Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park, a small little green oasis with trails, pavilions and lakes. You'll even have the opportunity to visit the Bangkok Tree House, and a beautiful statue of Lord Ganesh.

Before heading back to the river and Bangkok city-side, pause to have a delicious Thai Lunch or Thai Dinner at a Local restaurant.

Days 3 & 4

Today, you can enjoy a day completely at your leisure to explore the city or opt for an optional tour!

Overnight at hotel in Bangkok.

After breakfast, you will be met at your hotel and driven to explore more ancient temple ruins and crumbling pagodas that used to form Thailand’s largest and most important settlement. Here, explore Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, a temple that forbids monks to enter (due to its ‘royal’ status), and then on to Wat Mahathat, a highly-sacred temple famous for its Lord Buddha relics and traditional style once used as a model for other temples in the ancient kingdom. What seems to be the most prominent landmark of the temple is the head of a sandstone Buddha image entwined in the roots of a Bodhi tree.

In the late afternoon, you will drive approximately 3 hours to check in at a unique tented resort in Khao Yai. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Overnight at Lalamukha Tented Resort.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch

Days 5 - 12 (or longer)

After breakfast, visit Khao Yai National Park by taking a relaxed drive followed by an easy walk along one of the most beautiful trails in the park. Try to spot some Hornbills (which often have wingspans of over 130cm) and Wild Gibbons at play, as they frolic and call to each other from the trees.

The next stop it the three-tiered Heiw Narok Waterfall, one of the tallest and most beautiful waterfalls in the park, to enjoy spectacular views of the waterfall itself and the surrounding mountains. There is also a chance of seeing wild elephants at the salt licks along the road.

Tuck into a simple lunch box at the national park ready for the journey back to your accommodation and an afternoon relaxing at your leisure.

Overnight at Lalamukha Tented Resort.

After breakfast, explore Sam Roi Yot National Park, known as Thailand’s first coastal national park - The Three Hundred Peaks. This small but fascinating area of limestone mountain, coves, beaches, islands and marshy wetlands is home to a great number of plants and some endangered animals. The main attractions of the national park are Phraya Nakhon Cave with its iconic royal pavilion and huge chamber. It is easily accessible, only 60 km south from Hua Hin.

Phetchaburi & Maruekhathaiyawan Palace Private Tour

Your Optional Excursions

Experience the beautiful summer palace of King Rama IV, known as Phranakhonkiri and made famous as a filming location for classic movie, The King and I. Witness the majesty of Khao Luang Cave, where over 170 buddha images are accompanied by stucco art decoration. Admire an amazing view at the Maruka Tayawan Palace, normally known as the Palace of Love.

Phetchaburi is a charming town on the main road to the south and has a number of temples with strong connections to the former capital of Ayuthaya. Some of the best examples of Ayuthaya are mural paintings that can be found here. The glorious palace, now a national museum that sits on a hilltop overlooking the town, is a breathtaking place to visit. Your tour gives you a chance to explore the real Phetchaburi by visiting a daily fresh market where you can see assorted kinds of Thai food ingredients as well as tropical fresh fruits. There is a saying that you will never reach Thailand if you miss visiting its market.

Keep going to the heart of Phetchaburi where the prominent Prang (Khmer-style tower monument) of Wat Mahathat Temple stands proudly. The construction of the Prang was influenced by the Ayuthaya period and its architectural interest was derived from Hindu origins. The towering central Prang rises from the middle of a cloister lined with Buddha images and is surrounded by smaller Prangs with a small chapel.

At Phra Nakornkhiri, continue your journey by cable car to the beautiful summer palace of King Rama IV known as Phranakhonkiri, a set of the famous movie The King and I. Learn about the royal heritage in the palace museum and admire the spectacular view of the whole town of Phetchaburi from the observatory.
