Located along the Andaman coast, in southern Thailand, Krabi is one of southern Thailand's most picturesque provinces. Midway between Phuket and Samui Island, with perfect beaches and a stunning interior.
The province is famous for its great natural beauty, characterised by the limestone "karst" scenery that can be seen throughout the entire area. Local attractions include stunning coral reef, caves and waterfalls, and numerous offshore unspoiled islands.
The Naka Islands are just off the northeast coast of Phuket. There are two islands, Koh Naka Yai and Koh Naka Noi . The islands are still mostly undeveloped and there are some lovely beaches around the two islands - well worth a visit for those who enjoy exploring Phuket's attractions.
Koh Naka Yai is the larger of the two islands. It has four main beaches and a few other slivers of sand. The two big beaches on the east coast have great views across to Koh Yao Yai and to the northeast are the distant towering limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay.
The main beach has deckchairs, jetskis and banana boats. The inner island is a peaceful retreat with a small population. In the distance are the towering limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay.
