A half day tour of the most popular Buddhist temple and Landmark in Bangkok. The Royal Grand Palace, a great architectural masterpiece of several buildings from the outside and a magical inside was used as a royal residence from the 18th century to the mid-20th century. It is without any doubt a national reference and possibly the most visited royal monument of Thailand, and it shouldn’t be missed. The building houses the "Wat Phra Kaew", Bangkok's most sacred temple, in which is located the famous Emerald Buddha.

Discover Wat Traimit, famed for its 5.5-tonne Golden Buddha statue. Next, explore Chinatown to find Wat Pho, boasting the 43-meter long Reclining Buddha. Wat Pho is regarded as the first centre of public education and is sometimes called Thailand’s first university. It's also known as being the home of the reclining Buddha, at 46 metres in length and 15 metres tall, it's the largest in Bangkok and illustrates the passing of Buddha into nirvana.
You will end the tour with a visit to Wat Benchamabophit (the Marble Temple). This temple represents an outstanding combination of Italian Carrara marble and classical Thai architecture. To round off the tour, take to the local lapidary factory showroom where you can see locally made jewellery, handicrafts and silk.
