Included excursions —
Quad excursion in Jambiani (half day)
Starting from Jambiani (Kichakanyuki), we will drive slowly, respecting speed limits and rules, along the fishermen's houses and local activities to the main road.
By the beautiful old road, we will go to Makunduchi village and our first stop will be the main square (roundabout), where the guests can browse the local shops and purchase some gifts (such as rice, books and other school stationeries) from the local community.
After that, we will see and learn the story of Makunduchi Cottage Hospital and the Mwaka Kogwa Water Well. Then we will head to a local mud house where you will experience the different local traditions and culture while meeting with this young smiling community.
The last stop is Makunduchi Beach (Sokola Samaki), where an interesting collaboration with the fisherman community gives us the chance to move ahead with the Plastic Collection Project, where Zanzibar Quad Adventure is the promoter.
The fisherman will collect plastic on the beach at a proper collecting point, each quad features a 15 kg waterproof bag that we will use to move back plastic to our station. This plastic will be collected every two days from Zanrec Company and partly recycled by Ozti (Recycle At Ozti).
Then along a suggestive off-road along the Indian Ocean, we will drive back to Jambiani.
Our original tour will give you unforgettable memories and breathtaking pictures! Don’t forget your camera and your sun cream!
Please note: In order to respect the village culture, guests must dress appropriately (shoulders covered, no bikinis and no extra short pants).

Stone Town tour (half day)
Discover the secrets of Stone Town, the capital of Zanzibar on this amazing adventure. Learn more about its past and story while discovering the local life of the city.
Stone town is one of the few intact historical Swahili trading towns of East Africa. It was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in the year 2000. The tour takes you to the fabled stone town, where history appears to stand still.
The fascinating architectural design of stone town buildings with ornately carved and studded wooden doors shaded by balconies and verandas that line the narrow winding streets is evidence of a rich cultural heritage where Arab, Persian, Indian and European influences blended with African tradition.
The tour includes a visit to the bustling town market, the House of Wonders, the sultan's palace and the Arab fort. There is also time for shopping; Stone Town has a variety of excellent gift shops with plenty of souvenirs and handicrafts.
