Arrive in Stockholm and make yourself cosy at the Downtown Camper by Scandic, a centrally located hotel. From here, you can explore the best attractions the city has to offer, including the Nationalmuseum where you can view lovely Carl Larsson murals, the spooky Spokslottet and its gardens, the Djurgarden Canal and many more. You are also set in a popular area with many bars, boutiques and shops within walking distance!
Come back to the hotel after your busy day to enjoy a relaxing moment at the Nest Wellness, located on the rooftop. Take in the magnificent views as you swim in the outdoor pool or head to the sauna or the experience showers for a truly magical moment of total serenity.
DAY 2: STOCKHOLM
Start your morning with an included breakfast at the hotel and then, head out for a free day of sightseeing. We suggest stopping at the ABBA: The Museum, one of the top attractions in Stockholm. Channel your inner Dancing Queen and experience the interactive exhibition, virtually trying on ABBA's costumes and mixing the original music. There is also the Swedish Hall of Fame in the same building, which we also recommend visiting! Other notable attractions are the Djurgarden park, the Royal Palace and Skyview.
Day 3: Stockholm - Kiruna
Today, you will take the train from Stockholm to Kiruna. You will be in the comfort of a private compartment. The ride takes a little over 15 hours and is usually overnight. You will get a chance to see the magical Swedish Lapland landscape before you head for bed.
DAY 4: KIRUNA
Arrive in Kiruna, then, transfer to Camp Ripan. Here, you will rest in a Kiruna Chalet with breakfast and one 3-course dinner included. Delight in the beautiful countryside that surrounds the hotel and enjoy a day of pampering.
You will have once entrance to the Aurora Spa with Spa Ritual:
Entrance includes The Spa Ritual Stävan with coffee mask, birch leaf scrub, foot bath with foot salt and iron ore pellets. Bathrobe, towel, locally produced skin and hair care products, tea and fruit. The spa time is two hours. Your Destination —
Stockholm
As one of Europe's most enchanting, well-designed and dynamic destinations, Stockholm is an ideal choice for a city break in every season. From the fashion, to the architecture, vibrant dining scene and wealth of ever-evolving museums, this 'Beauty on the Water' offers something for guests of every age and description.
Spread across 14 islands, and yet surprisingly compact, the city of Stockholm is interconnected via a series of 57 charming bridges, which allow guests to walk between attractions with ease. The highlights across Sweden's capital seem endless, but Gamla Stan remains a firm favourite - one of the best-preserved districts seen across Europe, from the cobblestone streets to the cosy shops and cafés, where handicrafts, souvenirs and tasty, local treats can be found.
In addition to the winding, historical streets, Stockholm also promises an array of fantastic museums, the most famous of which is possibly the Vasa Museum. As the home of the only preserved seventeenth-century ship in the world, ornately decorated with hundreds of carved sculptures despite the 333 years it spent underwater following its maiden voyage - this is undoubtedly a must-see attraction when visiting Stockholm!
