Days 1 to 3
Day 1: Arrival in Seoul
- Touch down in South Korea’s buzzing capital and make your way to your hotel, where check-in awaits (typically from mid-afternoon).
- Arriving early? We suggest taking a gentle stroll or unwinding with a coffee nearby, or venturing just 15 minutes to Myeongdong, Seoul’s famed shopping and street food haven, perfect for a first glimpse into the city’s vibrant spirit.
- After settling in, explore the local area at your own pace, or head back to Myeongdong for a sizzling Korean barbecue dinner or a bowl of comforting kimchi jjigae.
- As night falls, let the twinkling lights and late-night buzz ease you into the rhythm of Seoul.

Day 2: Seoul
- Wake up to the rhythm of Seoul. If you'd like to try a local breakfast, why not treat yourself to a steaming bowl of Korean porridge (juk) or a sweet red bean bun from a nearby bakery?
- Spend your morning exploring nearby highlights at your own pace. We recommend visiting the Gwangjang Market, where you can watch silk being woven and taste iconic street food like bindaetteok (mung bean pancakes) or mayak gimbap (addictive mini seaweed rice rolls).
- At 1:00 PM, join your small group for a fascinating 4-hour guided tour of Changdeokgung Palace, a tranquil retreat with centuries of royal history and spellbinding architecture.
- Your English-speaking guide will also lead you through Insa-dong, a treasure trove of artisan boutiques, tea houses and cultural curiosities, and the lively Namdaemun Market.
- After the tour, you might take in the golden hour from Namsan Park or ride the cable car up to N Seoul Tower for panoramic city views (not included).
- As evening sets in, venture into the lively district of Hongdae or return to Myeongdong to sample sizzling samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) and mingle with locals.

Day 3: Seoul - Busan
- At either 8:00 am or 10:00 am, meet your English-speaking guide at your hotel and join your group for a compelling 6-hour journey to the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), one of the world’s most unique and politically charged sites.
- As you travel north, pass through the city’s outskirts and into the quiet landscapes surrounding Imjingak Park, where monuments and memories echo the divided past of the Korean peninsula.
- Reflect at the Freedom Bridge, once crossed by war prisoners returning home, and now standing as a symbol of reconciliation.
- Next, descend into the eerie Third Infiltration Tunnel, a hidden passage dug by North Korea beneath the border, a stark reminder of the fragile peace that still exists.
- At the Dora Observatory, gaze across barbed-wire fences and no man’s land, catching a rare glimpse into North Korea through binoculars, a surreal and sobering experience.
- Your final stop is Dorasan Station, the last train station before the border, built with quiet hope for reunification.
- You’ll return to Seoul in the early or mid-afternoon, depending on your tour time slot (either around 2:30 pm or 5:00 pm), with drop-off at City Hall.
- As the sun sets, settle into your seat aboard the KTX and watch the landscape blur by at 300km/h, bound for the southern shores of Busan and a whole new rhythm of discovery.
- After your train journey, check in to your hotel in Busan and take some time to rest or explore the nearby neighbourhood at your leisure.
Please remember: You’ll travel to Busan by bullet train (KTX) later today. As both activities fall on the same day, we strongly recommend checking your train schedule carefully and leaving ample time between your DMZ return and train departure.

Days 4 to 6
Day 4: Busan
- Rise early, your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel around 8:20 am to whisk you away on a small group tour discovering Busan’s stunning coastal beauty and vibrant culture.
- Experience the serene paths of Dongbaekseom Island and the diplomatic elegance of the APEC House, followed by a scenic drive along Dalmaji-gil, famed for its breathtaking ocean views.
- Visit the cliffside Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, soak in views of the Diamond Bridge, and enjoy free time for lunch, perhaps sample Busan’s famous grilled eel or spicy seafood stew at a local eatery (not included).
- Walk the dramatic Songdo Skywalk, explore the kaleidoscopic Gamcheon Culture Village with its street art and quaint cafés, then dive into the bustling Jagalchi Fish Market for fresh catches and local delicacies.

- Head to the airport for your afternoon domestic flight from Busan Gimhae International at 4:40 PM, arriving in Jeju Island at 5:40 PM.
- Upon arrival, you’ll make your own way to your hotel.
- Once checked in, why not stretch your legs with a gentle evening stroll along Tapdong Beach Promenade? The sea breeze and colourful street performers create a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after your travels.
