The adventure begins at 5:00 am with a transfer from your hotel to the starting point of the trek, before reaching the top of the impressive coloured mountain of Palcoyo. Like the Mountain of the 7 Colours, also known as Vinicunca, Palcoyo gets its colouring from minerals such as magnesium, calcium and iron that have accumulated over millions of years and which today offer us this magnificent spectacle.

To reach the top of Palcoyo Mountain, you will have to hike for two hours (moderate difficulty) to reach the highest point, which is at an altitude of 4,900 metres. Once you reach the top, enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountain and take a few minutes to appreciate the surroundings in peace and quiet as very few tourists venture up here, compared to the 7-colour mountain.

This experience is done while respecting the roads and regulations in force in order to participate in the preservation of this natural wonder. Please note:

- Includes: breakfast, lunch and transfers from/to the hotel in Cusco

- Level : easy

- Duration: 10 hours

- Minimum altitude: Queshuachaca 12,440 feet / 3,792 m.

- Maximum altitude: Palcoyo 16,000 ft / 4,930 m.

- Walking distance: 1.5 miles / 2.5 km.
