1st Day UK – Oslo
Fly from UK to Oslo’s Gardermoen airport, transferring on arrival by high speed rail to the city centre. Stay for 2 nights at the Scandic Vulkan.

2nd Day - Oslo
You have all day to discover the Viking Capital - look at the haunting image of Edvard Munch’s Scream at the National Gallery, take in the Viking Ship Museum, Nansen’s Fram or the open air Folk Museums on Bygdøy; hang out down by Aker Brygge or walk on the roof of the Opera House. At night you’re spoilt for choice with an eclectic bar & restaurant scene running the gamut from retro cocktail Bar Boca to Bent Stiansen’s Michelin starred Statholdergaarden.
3rd Day - Over the Roof of Norway
Leave early on the Bergensbanen climbing high into the mountains to Myrdal in Aurland where you join the eponymous mountain railway down to Flam village at the head of the Aurlandsfjord. The railway descends 20 metres past rivers cutting through deep ravines and snow-capped mountains with mountain farms clinging to their sides and waterfalls plunging from their peaks.
Continue your journey by shallow draft ferry for 2 hours along the fjord round into the Naeroyfjord, bus from Gudvangen up Stalheimskleiva’s 15 hairpin bends to Stalheim and Voss before joining the train down into Bergen.

Please note: prior to May 1st this journey will invariably be by main road because of winter road conditions.
4th Day - Bergen
The Gateway to the Fjords is filled with attractions; take the funicular up Mount Fløyen for a walk on one of the many marked paths, stroll around the fish market, take a fast ferry into the fjords.


5th Day - Bergen to UK
Morning at leisure before return scheduled flight to the UK

Hotel Scandic Byparken (formerly Rica Hotel Bergen) is centrally located in the heart of charming Bergen, near to the bus station, railway station and city sights.

Bergen is "The Gateway to the Fjords of Norway" and a well-established cruise port. It’s an international city packed with history and tradition, a big city with a small-town charm and atmosphere.

The hotel restaurant serves a generous breakfast, as well as lunch and dinner upon request. The modern lobby bar offers guests a great place to relax and have a freshly brewed cup of coffee. A fully equipped gym is available for use just around the corner from the hotel.

Each guest room has modern décor with either wooden or carpeted floors, private bathroom with shower, armchair, table, free WiFi, hair dryer, minibar and TV, offering guests a comfortable stay.

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our Meet and Greet service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Your Contract —

The flight inclusive offer(s) shown on this page are ATOL Protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Voyage Privé is acting as agent for Scan Adventures with ATOL number 5626 and your contract is with that company.

Travel Documents —

Once the booking process is complete, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from Voyage Prive detailing your chosen travel arrangements.

Your official ATOL receipt and booking confirmation issued by the Tour Operator will follow within 5 days.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure. Generally, travel documents are sent via email however, in some cases they will be sent by post.

If you have booked Meet & Greet, you will receive a separate voucher for this via email.
