Your Itinerary —

During their tour, our members may follow the guided itinerary below:

Day 1 or Days 1-2: Ålesund
Upon arrival at Ålesund airport you can reach the Quality Hotel Waterfront 4*, where you will be staying. Its central location allows guests to easily visit the city. Free day and overnight in the hotel.

Day 2 or 3: Ålesund - Geiranger
Today you will leave your hotel Ålesund and climb on board a ferry that will take you to Ålesund and Geiranger. The navigation will last from 9:00 to 12:00. Once you arrive at the pier, you will reach the Hotel Union Geiranger, where you will stay. Completely immersed in nature, it will allow you to experience a unique holiday in the fjords. Take advantage of the hotel's facilities and privileges negotiated for you. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 or 4: Geiranger
After breakfast, during these days you will discover the charm of the fjords, that will leave you breathless even during the summer period. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4, 5 or 6: Geiranger - Ålesund
Today you will leave your hotel Geiranger and climb on board a ferry that will take you from Geiranger to Ålesund. The navigation will last from 14:30 to 17:30. Once you arrive at the pier, you will reach the Quality Hotel Waterfront 4*, where you will stay again. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5, 6 or 7: Ålesund - Return
After breakfast, you will reach the airport and take the flight back to UK.

If you love the outdoors, exploring Norway’s fashionable capital of Oslo and all it has to offer is a definite must. With forests and fjords, as well as designer shopping and haute cuisine, we are sure that you are going to love this city. Oslo offers many attractions, most of them are located within walking distance of each other in Oslo’s compact city centre, while the famous museums on the Bygdøy peninsula area are easy to reach by public transportation. Top attractions in Oslo include Vigelandsparken Sculpture Park, the Opera House, Holmenkollen Ski Jump and the Viking Ship Museum.

Clarion Hotel The Hub 4* —

Welcome to the Clarion Hotel The Hub 4*, a complex that reopened its doors on March 2019. It has an idyllic location, in the centre of Oslo, and near to the central station. You will find shops, bars and restaurants very close to you. The ideal place to rest and be at the centre of all the action.

Alesund - Sea Kayak and Hike

Your Optional Excursions
This is a 5,5 hour seakayak and hike trip starting at the activity centre in Ålesund. Start with kayaking through Brosundet before crossing Aspevågen south of Ålesund city. Rounding Slinnings point, home of the famous Slinnings bonfire, and put the kayaks to shore at Hessa where you start the hike towards Mt.Sukkertoppen.

Geiranger - Fjordsightseeing

Your Optional Excursions
For some of the very best and most dramatic fjord scenery anywhere in Norway, don’t miss the chance to experience the Geirangerfjord UNESCO World Heritage site from a sightseeing boat. The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking. Take a closer look at the “Seven Sisters”, “Bridal Veil” and “Suitor” waterfalls, the majestic fjord cliffs and abandoned mountain farms. Perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to see porpoises playing in the fjord. Don’t forget your camera.

Geiranger - Discover Kayaking

Your Optional Excursions
Join for a fun, relaxed and intimate experience of this majestic fiord. Paddling here is awesome, whatever the weather and whatever your previous paddling experience (or lack of it!). The Discover Kayaking Tour is the shortest and easiest tour. Start at Geiranger Kayak base at Homlong and pass Homlong bay and towards the view of the "seven sister waterfall". The guides will take good care of you and tell you all interesting facts about the Geirangerfjord and the surroundings. Remember to bring you camera to capture the stunning scenery - amazing views you only get from the cockpit of a kayak.

These extra months over 10 years will not count towards the 6 months that must be remaining.
