Known for its stunning Art Nouveau architecture and the famous Atlantic Aquarium, Ålesund offers a day of charming exploration. Later, we reach Molde, the ‘City of Roses,’ where flower-filled gardens meet a dramatic backdrop of 222 peaks forming the celebrated Panorama of Molde.

DAY 3: ÅLESUND → TRONDHEIM
Journey through Norway’s Trøndelag region, where rolling hills, scattered farms, and low-lying coastal villages unfold along the way. Founded in 997, Trondheim is a captivating blend of medieval charm and modern energy, now Norway’s third-largest city with a lively student population.
Spend three hours exploring Trondheim’s highlights at your own pace or on an optional excursion and discover Nidaros Cathedral, the “Notre-Dame of Norway,” the Archbishop’s Palace with its Crown jewels, or the old wooden bridge Gamle Bybro leading into Bakklandet, where colourful riverside wharves now host cafés and restaurants. Above it all, Kristiansten Fortress offers sweeping views of the city and fjord. In the afternoon, set sail northwest, passing the ochre Kjeungskjær Lighthouse, scattered islets, and rocky reefs, before arriving at the charming town of Rørvik.

DAY 4: TRONDHEIM → ARCTIC CIRCLE → BODØ
Early in the morning, you'll cross the Arctic Circle, marked by a lively traditional ceremony. In summer, the sun never sets above the Circle, while in winter, the chances of spotting the Northern Lights are high.
At 10 a.m., make a stop in Ørnes near Norway’s second-largest glacier, Svartisen. Don’t miss the "Love Bench" on the pier, where couples leave padlocks as declarations of love. Continue to Bodø, the second-largest city in Northern Norway, framed by the Børvass mountains. Explore its striking street art or join an optional boat excursion to the Saltstraumen, the world’s strongest tidal maelstrom.
In the afternoon, enter the Lofoten archipelago, where the towering 1,000-meter "Lofoten Wall" awairs, while Stamsund harbour bustles with one of the islands’ largest fishing fleets. By evening, the rorbuer, traditional fishermen’s cabins on stilts, line the port of Svolvær, the main town of the Lofoten Islands, offering a picture-perfect Arctic welcome.

DAY 5: BODØ → TRØMSØ
Today, you'll arrive in Harstad just after 7 a.m., offering a peaceful morning to stroll through the quiet town. The ship then sails toward Finnsnes, connecting to the stunning island of Senja via the impressive Gisund Bridge. Keep an eye out for seabirds, including puffins, and in winter, you may even spot whales in these waters.
Next, you'll reach Tromsø, the historic gateway to Arctic exploration, where you’ll have four hours to explore or join an optional excursion. Visit Polaria, the world’s northernmost aquarium, wander the city centre’s shops and cafés, including the Mack Brewery, the popular Ølhallen pub, and trendy coffee spots serving artful cinnamon buns. Across the fjord, the iconic Arctic Cathedral, with its striking stained-glass mosaic, comes into view from the pier.
Depart Tromsø in the early evening, heading north toward Skjervøy, a trading post founded in 1622, passing the majestic Lyngen Alps rising above the sea.

DAY 6: TRØMSØ → HONNINGSVÅG
Early in the morning, arrive at Hammerfest on Kvaløya Island, home to summer reindeer herds, then sail past Havøysund’s wind turbines. Mid-morning, you'll reach Honningsvåg, gateway to the North Cape, where a globe marks Europe’s northernmost point. By evening, arrive at Mehamn, the northernmost port, before sailing to Berlevåg past the Slettnes Lighthouse, Europe’s northernmost lighthouse.

DAY 7: HONNINGSVÅG → KIRKENES
Arriving in Vadsø early morning, a prime Arctic birdwatching area along the migratory route from the east. Keep an eye out for white-tailed eagles and hooded crows. A few kilometers away, Kirkenes marks the end of your Norwegian Coastal Voyage, bringing your journey to the edge of Europe’s northern frontier.
