Your itinerary in detail —
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
- Transfer to the hotel
- Visit Buddhnath Stupa
- Visit the temple of Pashupatinath
DAY 2: KATHMANDU VALLEY
- Visit the temple of Changu Narayan, the oldest pagoda temple in Nepal
- Hike from Changu Narayan to Telkot
- Visit the village of Telkot
Afternoon: Bhaktapur
- Enjoy a guided tour of the city of Bhaktapur
- Visit the highest temple in the Kathmandu Valley: Nyatapola Temple
- Walk around the square, where you will observe the age-old pagoda-style building and the Nyatapolo and Datta-Traya temples
- Topi (traditional hat) making tour (Closed on weekends) and visit Nepal Professional Academy
Day 3: Kathmandu - Chitwan
- Reach the entry point of Chitwan National Park
- Begin the river crossing on a small ferry to enter the park with the naturalist guide
- After lunch, start with the activities in the jungle: canyoning, walking in the jungle and visiting a Tharu dwelling.
- Dinner and night in your Lodge in the jungle
DAY 4: CHITWAN
- Enjoy watching the wildlife in the morning and then return to camp for breakfast
- Activities in the jungle: canyoning, jungle walking and a visit to the Tharu house
- Enjoy refreshments in a small local bar while tasting fresh fish and shellfish with a drink
- Dinner and night in your Lodge in the jungle
Day 5: Chitwan - Pokhara
- After breakfast, transfer to the exit point of the park
- 4-5 hour drive to Pokhara, nestled in a quiet valley (827m) behind the mighty Annapurna Himalayan range
- A morning walk to Sarangkot to see the glorious sunrise and the giants of the Western Himalayan range will be a treat, while Phewa Lake offers a splendid view of Machhapuchare Peak.
DAY 6: POKHARA
- Visit the ancient fort of Kaski, on top of a hill 5 km west of the Pokhara valley
- Return to the hotel for breakfast
- Drive to Kalimati to visit the World Peace Stupa
- Embark on an early evening cruise on Phewa Lake
- A guided tour of Pokhara City
DAY 7: POKHARA - KATHMANDU (5210 Km / 5-6h drive)
- After breakfast, return to Kathmandu and check-in at the hotel
- The evening is free in the centre of Kathmandu in the district of Thamel
DAY 8: DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU
- Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Kathmandu International Airport

Flight over the Himalayas on Day 2 or 3
Mountain flights offer the closest possible aerial views of Mount Everest, Kanchanjunga and the Tibetan Plateau. Twice the size of the Alps, their immensity is breathtaking. This 45-minute flight offers an incredible panorama, which you can enjoy from the front row.
Itinerary:
- Planes take off from either TIA or Kathmandu.
- Once on board, an agent will give you a map of the "Himalayan peaks". This map contains information about the different peaks you will see during the mountain flight. You will also receive a briefing on the mountains you will see. You will see breathtakingly beautiful mountains over 8,000 metres above sea level, such as Cho-Oyu, Shisha Pangma, Mount Everest and Lhotse, from a guaranteed window seat on the aircraft.
- Flying in the mountains allows you to enjoy fantastic views, but also helps you understand Nepal's geography. With an early morning departure, you'll enjoy the best views of the Himalayas.
- During the flight, you will see 20 of the highest peaks in eastern Nepal, starting with Langtang Lirung, which is the closest peak to Kathmandu, then you will head towards Mount Everest in the east (some 30 km from your window), and finally Chamlang.
- From here, the plane turns around and passengers can enjoy the view a second time as they fly back to Kathmandu.
- To commemorate your unique experience at the top of the world, you'll receive a personalised Everest Experience certificate at the end of the flight.
