Day 1-3
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Kathmandu is situated in the Kathmandu Valley in central Nepal, surrounded by the Himalayan mountain ranges. It is the largest city in Nepal and serves as the political, economic, and cultural hub of the country.
The city has a rich history that dates back thousands of years. It was an important trade and cultural center along ancient trade routes between India and Tibet. The city has been influenced by various dynasties, including the Malla kings, who ruled the Kathmandu Valley for centuries. Many historic and religious sites, including temples, palaces, and stupas, reflect this rich history.

Day 2: Kathmandu - Bhaktapur
Today, you'll head to Bhaktapur, also known as Bhadgaon or Khwopa – a historic city in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. It is one of the three major cities in the valley, alongside Kathmandu and Patan. Bhaktapur is renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture, ancient temples, and rich cultural heritage.
You'll also visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is a remarkable complex of palaces, temples, statues, and courtyards that showcase the city's architectural and artistic brilliance. Some of the prominent structures within the Durbar Square include the 55-Window Palace, Vatsala Temple, Nyatapola Temple (a five-tiered pagoda), and the Dattatreya Temple.
Bhaktapur has a reputation for its pottery and traditional crafts. The city is known for its distinctive pottery known as "Bhaktapur Pottery," which includes intricate clay pots, jars, and sculptures. Visitors often have the opportunity to witness potters at work and even try their hand at the craft.

Day 3: Kathmandu
Today, after having breakfast at the hotel, you'll visit Swyambhunath, Kathmandu city and Patan Durbar Square.
Swoyambhunath has become an important place of Buddhist learning. It is also known as the Monkey Temple, as there are sacred monkeys living in some parts of the temple in the northwest. Swayambhunath occupies a central position; it is probably the holiest among the Buddhist pilgrimage sites.
In the afternoon depart for Durbar Square in Patan.

Day 4-6
Day 4: Kathmandu - Chitwan
Chitwan National Park offers the richest and most spectacular wildlife viewing in Asia. Famous for its wilderness and home to tigers, rhinos, sloths, leopards, crocodiles and over 400 species of birds, it offers you the classic safari. By day, head into the jungle on elephant back, on foot or by canoe to observe the abundant flora and fauna. In the evening, enjoy succulent meals and jungle stories.
After lunch at the lodge, you will visit the local community village. This gives you a unique insight into the way of life of the original inhabitants of Chitwan.

Day 5: Chitwan
Enjoy a safari through the thick jungle of Chitwan by jeep. You will ride a jeep through the wilderness, experiencing the local wildlife. The entire experience lasts between 2 to 3 hours.
Return to the hotel for lunch, and then continue your adventure with a canoe trip on the Rapti River, where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of beautiful riverine scenery, including different types of birds, two types of crocodiles and other aquatic creatures.

Day 6: Chitwan
After breakfast, you'll venture out on a short jungle walk. If the experience of Nepal's wild plains and bird watching interests you, we suggest you take a jungle walk with our naturalist. This walk gives you an ideal opportunity to see the wild animals at close quarters.
Later you will head to Tharu village for a special Tharu dinner. Your host will guide you in the preparation of the dishes you will eat afterwards. Cooking with the simple but effective Tharu cooking utensils will be unlike any other cooking experience you have had before.

Day 7-10
Day 7: Chitwan - Gorkha
Today, you'll drive to Gorkha Gaun Resort which is about an hour drive. Gorkha Gaun is a new destination for all those who are looking to experience the simple bliss of relaxing in the natural surroundings of the Nepalese people. This town is located in central Nepal. It holds great significance in Nepali history, as it is the ancestral home of the Shah dynasty, which played a pivotal role in the unification of Nepal into a single kingdom.

Dy 8: Gorkha
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll walk to a nearby village of Magar, through the fields where you can see people working in their field and growing seasonal crops. Once you reach the village, the villagers will welcome you and you can explore and interact with the locals. You will be offered local Acholi beer (barley beer) and visit the aid post and school.

Day 9: Gorkha - Kathmandu
This morning you'll have breakfast at the hotel and return to Kathmandu. Lunch will be enjoyed en route at a local tourist restaurant. Once you've arrived and checked in at hotel in Kathmandu, the rest of the day is yours to explore at your own leisure.

Mountain flying not only allows you to enjoy the fantastic views but also helps you to understand the geography of Nepal. Although mountain flights don't have a long history, they have gained popularity among tourists for the beauty they promise. Baggage, meals and other services on board certain flights may be subject to a charge. You will find out whether your airfare includes baggage when you choose your airline and timetable. If your fare does not include baggage, please go to the airline's website before your departure with your travel file reference to find out the exact fare and purchase your extra baggage. If you choose a low-cost airline, you will be able to add your baggage during the booking process. The iconic Gorkha Durbar, a magnificent palace with a unique architectural blend of Nepali and Mughal styles, stands as a testament to the town's rich heritage. Explore this historical marvel and learn about the legendary King Prithvi Narayan Shah, who unified Nepal from Gorkha.
