DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN DUBROVNIK → HERCEG NOVI (approx. 31 miles - 1h10)
Arrive at Dubrovnik Airport, where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Herceg Novi, where you will stay for 3 nights. Your rental car will be made available at the hotel, allowing you to begin exploring at your own pace. Take time to discover this charming coastal town at the entrance of the Bay of Kotor, with its sloping streets, historic squares and panoramic sea views.
DAYS 2 & 3: HERCEG NOVI
Enjoy two days at leisure to explore the region at your own pace. Between sea and mountains, Herceg Novi offers the perfect base to discover the surrounding landscapes, from the breathtaking Bay of Kotor to nearby coastal villages and scenic viewpoints.
DAY 4: HERCEG NOVI → PETROVAC (approx. 37 miles - 1h40)
After breakfast, drive towards Petrovac, where you will stay for 4 nights. Located along the Budva Riviera, this seaside town is known for its relaxed atmosphere, beautiful beaches and crystal-clear waters — the perfect setting to unwind.
DAYS 5-7: PETROVAC
Enjoy several days at leisure to explore the Budva Riviera, one of Montenegro’s most iconic coastal regions. Relax on picturesque beaches such as Kamenovo or Mogren, explore the historic old town of Budva, or simply soak up the Mediterranean lifestyle between sea, sun and local culture.
DAY 8: PETROVAC → HERCEG NOVI → DEPARTURE FROM DUBROVNIK (approx. 56 miles - 2h30)
After breakfast, return to Herceg Novi to drop off your rental car, before your transfer to Dubrovnik Airport for your return flight.

Culinary Culture:

Being on the coast, seafood is a main staple here, with fresh fish, octopus, squid, and shellfish commonly found in many dishes. A balkan classic is ćevapi, which are small grilled sausages made from beef and lamb. Petrovac
