Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo
A driver-guide will accompany you from the airport to a unique hotel in the capital, "Au Bois Vert", where the forest, the birds and the chameleons are in the heart of the city, only 5 minutes from Ivato international airport.
Dinner and overnight stay at Au Bois Vert.
Day 2: Antananarivo - Anjajavy
Drive to Ivato airport to reach the paradise of Anjajavy (flight of about 1 hour 30 minutes), located in the northwest of Madagascar, with a time difference of one hour compared to local time. Depending on the flight, the day will be at your leisure. Enjoy a massage with Madagascan essential oil or an afternoon tea at 5pm in the landscaped gardens, a favourite place for groups of lemurs and a multitude of birds.

Day 3: Sunset cruise at the marina and cocktail
Take a sunset cruise of 1-1.5 hours between the marina of the Lodge and the village of Ambondro-Ampasy (with the possibility to sail into the twisting mangroves if the tide permits). It is recommended you bring; mosquito repellent, a camera and binoculars (if you have them). Boarding is from the beach, feet in the water, so please have appropriate footwear.

Day 4: Free day
Our suggestion: the diving points are in front of the rocks that border the main beach and around the islets of Crique III. The necessary equipment is available on-site.

Day 5: The Giant's walk
Glimpse the high walls of Tsingy, cross the mangroves, and meet a giant baobab tree of more than 400 years. Keep an eye out for lemurs and endemic birds along the way. The tour will last from 1-1.5 Don't forget to hang your mosquito repellent.

Day 6: Free day
Our suggestion: Anjajavy is one of the best destinations in Madagascar for birdwatching enthusiasts. The Anjajavy Reserve is home to 135 species of birds and offers an early morning outing accompanied by a specialised guide. Don't miss out on the chance to see endemic species such as the Malagasy Dyal, the Malagasy Souimanga or the Malagasy Stiltbird (the best season is from September to November).

Day 7: Village visit
Anjajavy is the main village around the Anjajavy protected area. Located at the edge of the dunes, along a long sandy beach, it is home to many initiatives developed by the Lodge (a college, library and market to name a few). Visiting the village is mainly on Sundays, where the traditional Sunday market is a social gathering where surrounding villages meet to sell or exchange fresh products.

Day 8: Free day
Our suggestion: Visit the Tsingy enclosure on a 3km walk (or 2km by car). Discover examples of Madagascar's characteristic flora along the way, such as rosewood, tamarind, baobab and many mangrove trees.

Day 9: Anjajavy - Antananarivo
The driver will be at your disposal for the transfer to the airport to the capital of Antananarivo according to the flight schedule.

Day 10: Antananarivo
Take a dip in the swimming pool, head out of the hotel to visit local workshops of marquetry or the construction of miniature boats, and stroll in the artisanal bazaar or in the local market.

According to your flight schedule, transfer to the airport for check-in.
