Your Itinerary —
Day 1: Arrival in Vilnius
Upon arrival make your way to your hotel & check in, the rest of the day is at leisure.
Breakfast at hotel and then embark on your tour of historical Vilnius, which has been the capital of Lithuania for more than 600 years. The tour includes: St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Gediminas Castle, Cathedral Square with St. Stanislaw Cathedral and Bell tower, Bernadine Garden and St. Ann and Bernardines’ Church.
Unearth the fascinating history of Užupis - one of the oldest districts of Vilnius, mentioned in the historical sources as far back as the 16th century, nowadays the artists’ “republic”, which has its own constitution, national anthem, calendar and map.
There will be a short photo stop on the street Subaciaus to a fantastic view of the old town from the observation deck, the Gates of Dawn with a holy image of the Virgin Mary, Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy Spirit, Town Hall Square and finally, Vilnius University which was founded in 1579 (entrance included).
The afternoon will be spent visiting numerous Christmas events and the Christmas market in the Old Town of Vilnius.
3rd Day: Exploring Vilnius
After breakfast at hotel, head out and explore the city.
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and make your way to the airport in time for your flight home.
