Day 1 - 3
Day 1: Arrival in Amman
Upon your arrival, a warm reception awaits at the airport, followed by a smooth transfer to the car rental agency for vehicle collection and visa completion. Afterward, you'll be whisked away to your hotel for a seamless check-in, allowing you to settle in comfortably.
Day 2: Amman - Jerash - Amman (Approximately 160 kilometers - 2h30 drive)
Embark on an enchanting journey to Jerash, the second-largest archaeological site in Jordan. Recognized as one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the Near East, Jerash's treasures, from colonnaded streets to grand temples, await exploration.
After lunch, return to Amman for a city tour, revealing the secrets of Jordan's capital, including the Citadel and the Roman Acropolis, all set against the backdrop of seven hills between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley.
Day 3: Amman - Kings' Highway - Madaba - Nebo - Kerak - Petra (Approx. 235 km - 3 hours' drive)
After breakfast, hit the Kings' Highway for an exciting journey. Explore Madaba, the city of mosaics, with its 14 churches showcasing Byzantine artistry. Visit the Church of St. George to marvel at a 6th-century mosaic map of Palestine.
Head to Mount Nebo, a historic pilgrimage site, then continue to the fortress of Kerak for lunch (excluding drinks). Finally, drive through the desert road to reach Petra.
Day 4 & 5
Day 4: Petra
After a delightful breakfast, immerse yourself in a day devoted to exploring Petra, the Red City carved from soft sandstone. With almost 800 monuments across 100 km², Petra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the eighth wonder of the world, making it Jordan's most renowned attraction.
Journey through the narrow Siq, shaped by a prehistoric earthquake, and witness the majestic "Al Khazneh" or the "Treasury." Beyond, encounter sculpted buildings, temples, royal tombs, and the Roman theatre with 3,000 seats. Explore the Roman Cardo, visit the well-preserved Qasr El Bint, and climb Mount El Deir in the afternoon to marvel at the Monastery, Petra's masterpiece.
Enjoy free time and later, return to the hotel, cherishing the unforgettable moments in Petra.
Day 5: Petra - Little Petra - Wadi Rum (Approx. 112 km - 1hr 50min drive)
After a delightful breakfast, make a final visit to the majestic "Little Petra" before heading to the captivating desert of Wadi Rum. T. E. Lawrence's influence has shaped the serene beauty of its cliffs, peaks, and valleys, making it a high point of the Great Arab Revolt, immortalized in the film Lawrence of Arabia.
Lunch (excluding drinks) in a Bedouin camp offers a taste of Bedouin hospitality. In the afternoon, a 4X4 pick-up adventure unveils the splendor of Wadi Rum's ancient desert. Conclude the day with dinner (drinks not included) accompanied by Bedouin music, creating an enchanting evening in the heart of this extraordinary desert landscape.
Day 6 - 8
Day 6: Wadi Rum - Aqaba
Enjoy breakfast in Wadi Rum before heading to the sun-kissed seaside resort of Aqaba along the Red Sea. Aqaba beckons with its splendid marine scenery, making it an ideal spot for relaxation.
Take the day at your leisure, exploring Aqaba and indulging in some shopping.
Day 7: Aqaba - Dead Sea (Approx. 272 km - 3 hours 20 minutes drive)
Start your day with breakfast in Aqaba and then journey to the Dead Sea, the world's lowest point. Float in its mineral-rich waters and relax on its extraordinary shores, making it a unique and rejuvenating experience.
Day 8: Dead Sea - Amman - Return Flight (Approx. 54 km - 57 minutes)
Drive to Amman, return your hire car at the airport, and depart with cherished memories of your Jordanian adventure.
