Your Itinerary in Detail —
Day 1-3
Day 1: Upon arrival in Amman, you will be met and assisted by our representative at Amman airport. Your driver will then take you to your hotel in Amman (45 minutes and 1 hour). Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace.
Day 2: After breakfast, set off on a journey in time. You will begin with a visit to Jerash, the best preserved Roman provincial city in the Near East. Hidden under the sand for several centuries before being discovered and restored over 70 years, Jerash is the epitome of Roman municipal planning in the Middle East. After a break for lunch, head for Ajloun where you will visit the impressive fortress (Qalaat al Rabad), nestling at the top of a mountain, built in the 12th century during the time of Saladin to defend the region and control the local iron mines. From the summit, enjoy a breathtaking view over the Jordan Valley. Before sunset, return to Amman to visit the Citadel, the Temple of Hercules, the Roman Theatre and take a stroll through the old town.
Day 3: After breakfast, say goodbye to Amman and take the Kings' Highway to the south of Jordan. On this route, enjoy the beauty of the landscape as you pass through deep wadis, olive groves, rural villages and farmland. En route, stop in Madaba to visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St George, made famous by its 6th-century Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land, and other biblical sites. You will then head to Mount Nebo, the known burial place of Moses, which offers a spectacular view of the Holy Land. Then on to Kerak Castle, which offers an impressive insight into the architectural and military skills of the Crusaders.
Day 4-5
Day 4: After breakfast, explore the renowned Nabataean site of Petra, capital of the ancient Nabataean trading empire until the Romans took over in 106 AD. Petra lies on the edge of Wadi Araba and one of the best ways to get there is via the Siq, a narrow, winding gorge cut by the imposing canyon walls and surrounding hills. Once in Petra, you'll notice that there are very few free-standing buildings, as the Nabataeans preferred to carve their houses into the pink sandstone cliffs. The guided tour takes you through the Siq before arriving at the Khazneh, one of Petra's most elaborate temples. You'll discover how the Nabataeans carved their land into the rock faces and learn more about its spiritual significance. You'll also visit the ancient Roman amphitheatre in ruins and the colonnaded street. You'll be guided through the city before you have free time to visit at your own pace. If you still have enough energy, you can also visit the High Place of Sacrifice and the Lion Fountain.
Day 5: After breakfast, start the day exploring the magnificent desert and mountainous landscapes of Wadi Rum. Keep an eye out for the rocky, copper-coloured 'jebels' that fascinated 'Lawrence' on his visits to the desert during the Arab Revolt, before becoming famous in the film Lawrence of Arabia. Ttake a 3-hour jeep safari through the magnificent desert landscape, discovering more sheer cliffs and bizarre rock formations. You'll spend the evening and night by the campfire, watching the stars and enjoying a delicious traditional Jordanian meal.
Day 6-8
Day 6: After breakfast, return to northern Jordan via the famous Wadi Araba road. You'll leave the desert behind to discover the unmissable Dead Sea. Not only is it the lowest point on earth, 400 metres below sea level, it is also considered one of the most spiritual landscapes in the world, packed with spectacular natural wonders. You'll be settling down on the shores of the Dead Sea in your own magnificent resort for the next two days.
Day 7: After breakfast, enjoy a free day at the Dead Sea, soothing and spiritual setting.
Day 8: Your trip has come to an end. After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Your destination —
Amman
Full to the brim with epic scenery, ancient history, captivating cities and bucket list attractions, Jordan is a popular tourist destination that offers its guests a true immersion into the charms of the Middle East.
While Jordan offers a variety of spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Sites, none are more beloved than Petra, a fascinating archaeological city that sits within a mountain gorge and features beautiful 'rose-tinted' stone. Frequently referred to as one of the seven new Wonders of the World, this architectural masterpiece is a must-stop spot on any tourist's itinerary in Jordan.
For those hoping to escape the arid climate of the desert, we recommend taking advantage of Jordan's coastline with a visit to the Dead Sea. Thanks to the incredibly high salt quantities in the water, here, you can float atop the waves, make the most of the natural minerals and their healing properties and enjoy a well-deserved rest, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life!
