TOKYO

More than just a city, Tokyo is a fascinating juxtaposition of motley neighbourhoods, skyscrapers, neon signs, temples and traditional shrines. Don't miss the must-sees, such as the magnificent Buddhist temple Senso-Ji in the traditional district of Asakusa, the Sky Tree Tower which will give you a bird's eye view of the giant capital or the Hama-Rikyu, a 25-hectare garden overlooking Tokyo Bay.

Included in your offer:

  • Evening stroll through Shinjuku, with an English-speaking guide.

Optional at extra cost:

  • Private guided day in Tokyo
  • Guided of Kamakura to discover this beachside town known for its Daibutsu (Great Buddha of Kamakura)

HAKONE

Discover the Mount Fuji region and stay in a ryokan, a typical Japanese inn. At Lake Ashinoko, make a diversion to the sanctuary of Jinja, a Shinto place of worship with its feet in the water. Relax in the hot baths of the Onsen before visiting an old traditional teahouse for a snack and mochi!

Included in your offer:

  • Traditional Japanese dinner

Optional at extra cost:

  • Private bath in room

KYOTO

With over 1,600 temples, you won't get bored on your visit to Kyoto. You won't want to miss the famous Golden Pavilion and its splendid reflection in the water. For something different, take a trip to the Gion district, famous for its tea rooms; you may also be able to spot a few Geishas there. For a cultural and unusual outing, visit the Musée international du Manga, where a collection of some 300,000 comic books is on display.

Included in your offer:

  • Night walk of Gion, Kyoto's lively and colourful geisha district
  • On the Tea Route, Set off for Uji, a town renowned for producing Japan's finest matcha (powdered green tea)

Osaka, Okayama & Hiroshima

OSAKA

Capital of the Kansai region and renowned for its street food, discover the authentic face of Japan during your stay in this amazing city. Do some shopping in Rue Dotonbori before going out for a drink in a restaurant or club located on this unique street. Its popularity is only growing due to the many local shows filmed there.

OKAYAMA

Take a trip to the Koraku-en gardens, considered by the locals to be one of the most beautiful parks in the country. In summer, spring or autumn, enjoy it from every angle! Not far away, Okayama Castle, unusually black in colour, offers a magnificent panoramic view from its summit. Finally, enjoy the traditional district of Bikan and its typical houses, or make a diversion to the Japanese sword museum in Bizen.

HIROSHIMA & MIYAJIMA

Scarred by the violence of the war like no other city in the world, Hiroshima still bears many traces of the tragedy that took place on 6 August 1945. Head to the Genbaku Dome, which means "atomic bomb" in Japanese, which has become a must-see symbol of peace because of its resistance to the violent incident. The Peace Memorial Park, located in the city centre, meanwhile, traces the history of the city through several dozen monuments.

Miyajima, a small mountainous island of 39 km², is made up of a small inhabited part and a large part of wild land. Situated in the Seto Inland Sea, don't miss visits to the many temples that litter "the island of the gods". The floating Torri of Itsukushima Jinja is one of Japan's emblems; a UNESCO World Heritage Site, its popularity is totally justified.
