Your Destinations —
Ubud
When you think of Bali, images of Ubud's towering temples and lush, green rice terraces are often dreamt up. While the centre of Ubud's town is busy with tourists, traditional craft shops and cultural landmarks, the real draw of Ubud lies in its tranquil outskirts, which are rich in hypnotic and stunningly scenic natural beauty.
As the heartland of the island, Ubud is ideal for both those who want a total escape from their daily life, and those who wish to uncover the ancient secrets of Balinese culture. Undoubtedly, a must-see spot on any tourist's list is the Ubud Monkey Forest, where over 700 long-tailed macaques share their spiritual home with daily visitors. In addition to the lively residents, the forest boasts 186 different species of tree and several sacred temples.
Another Ubud highlight is the Tegallalang Rice Terrace, a prime photo-stop that showcases some of the most beautiful terraced fields in all of Southeast Asia. We highly recommend heading here to enjoy the absolute best of Bali's nature - it also promises a cool, breezy atmosphere which is more than welcome following a break at the beach!
Nusa Penida
Venture to the peaceful island of Nusa Penida. Steep cliffs, lush vegetation but above all breathtaking beaches will be waiting for you. You can also observe a rich and amazing aquatic fauna of colorful fish and manta rays. This island still preserved from mass tourism will seduce you with its authenticity and its incredible landscapes.
Sanur
Spread out across 5km of pristine beach on the south-west coast of the island, Sanur was Bali’s first established beach resort and today attracts visitors looking for perfect beaches with calm waters. Ideal for families, Sanur exudes a welcoming feel with lush grounds and beach-centric vibe. Despite being a destination famed for relaxation, it is still well located for trips to livelier Seminyak or Kuta.
