Ubud is the cultural heart of Bali, home to many artists' studios, museums and traditional souvenirs. Being almost right at the centre of the island, swathes of rice paddies, an active volcano and lush forest cover the surrounding landscapes, adding to the immersive experience of visiting the 'real' and more traditional part of the island.
The beaches in Bali are famous for surfing, diving and snorkelling, so watersports lovers will be in their element. The dining and bar scene are also well known for being outstanding, with chic sunset view bars and world class gourmet restaurants lining the shores of the most popular tourists spots.

Arrive at Ngurah Rai international airport in Denpasar the capital of Bali, "The island of a thousand temples". Ubud is well known as the centre of art of Bali, geographically located in the center of the island, is home to many famous artists both native and foreign. Ubud spreads its charm through art, especially painting, but the laid back surrounding atmosphere in every corner of this beautiful village is not less worthy to be pursued. Check in at your hotel and rest of the day free at leisure.

DAY 2 | UBUD – FREE AT LEISURE
Breakfast at hotel. Day free at leisure, enjoy the hotel facilities, relax by the pool reading your book and listen to your favorite music playlist.

Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, pay a short visit to the Monkey Forest - home to a healthy population of long-tailed macaques and then drive to central Ubud, to discover Ubud's Royal Palace, which was built in the 16th century. Until today the palace is still the home to Ubud's king and the royal family. Just next to the palace, lies the Ubud art market, the most popular traditional market in Bali. Here the local vendors sell many things such as Balinese handicrafts and textiles. You’ll drive along small, scenic roads offering beautiful views of the rice fields, especially near the village of Tegalalang.
Next to Kintamani, where you will enjoy spectacular views over Lake Batur and its volcano, Mt Batur. Although Mt Batur (1412m) is not the highest volcano in Bali, it is the most active and is surrounded by an impressive caldera. Your lunch will be served while you still be able to enjoy this beautiful panorama.
Next to Tampak Siring to visit Tirta Empul Temple, famous for its holy water where Balinese worshipers have been drawn for more than a thousand years. You will find a bathing pool of natural spring of water with archetype designs of Balinese old style 3 Proceed towards the 'Elephant Cave' of Goa Gajah temple, which dates from the 11th century and is surrounded by lovely landscaped gardens. Back to your hotel.

Breakfast at hotel. You will start with a visit to Taman Ayun, the Royal Temple of Mengwi. Built in 1634, this very impressive temple is Bali’s most sacred, surrounded by a wide moat that creates the sensation as if you are standing in the middle of the lake.
From there, continue on to Bedugul. This pleasant mountain village is located on Lake Bratan and you will visit its Botanical gardens and fresh market. Due to its higher altitude and cooler weather, Bedugul is Bali’s agricultural centre for vegetables. Afterwards, enjoy your set menu lunch at a local private retreat, which is now open for public by the lake.
At the end of your lunch, take a short walk to the shore of the lake and then board a traditional boat or Jukung for a short paddle to reach the Ulun Danu Temple. You will discover this magnificent water temple from a different angle. See the temple from the distance standing proudly on the lake.
At the end of the day, you will head to Tanah Lot Temple, Bali’s most photographed. The temple is perched on a little rocky islet that is inaccessible during high tides. After visiting Tanah Lot your driver will take you back to your accommodation. Transfer back to Ubud.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive towards the slopes of the Agung volcano, where the Pura Besakih temple, The mother temple is located. Besakih is the largest temple complex, the most important temple, and holiest temple for the Hindu religion in Bali.
Continue to explore Tenganan Village, home to the Bali Aga people, the Bali first inhabitants who were there ever before the arrival of the Majapahit dynasty who came from Java. You will see the village’s primitive architecture as well as observe the weaving of rare “double ikat” pattern and basket weaving.
Lunch at a local restaurant. Check in at your hotel and then drive to Pasir Putih, one of Bali’s most beautiful and most hidden beaches and used as the setting for the movie ‘Eat, Pray, Love’. Enjoy relaxing on the white sands, swim in the crystal clear water or sip a fresh drink from one of the local seaside warungs.
Continue to Candidasa, arriving in the late afternoon.

Bid farewell to Candidasa after breakfast at the hotel and catch the speed boat to Senggigi. Arrive at Teluk Kode direct transferto your hotel. Check in and free at leisure (room available at 14:00 pm)

DAY 7 | SENGGIGI – SASAK VILLAGE – SELONG BELANAK – SENGGIGI (170km – 8h)
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day tour of the island and visit Sade, a typical Sasak traditional village located on the main road of Praya and Kuta. Sade is the home of indigenous Sasak tribe, the houses are made with bamboo and wood with thatched roofs and buffalo dung floors.
Continue to Selong Belanak beach located on the south of Lombok, about 1h45 drive from Senggigi. Passing through beautiful twisty roads with many green tobacco farms and dry hills. Unwind on a curvy shaped glittering white sand beach with perfectly blue sea clear water. In the afternoon, you will be treated to the magnificent sight of the buffaloes being herded along the beach. Transfer back to your hotel.
