Located in the south, tourists come here to get a taste of slow, beachside living, in a place where they can sip a cocktail at a chic bar or dive into pristine waters in a serene setting.
Must sees:
- Jimbaran Bay: An iconic bay famous for its serene beaches and gorgeous views. This bay offers a delightful retreat as well as an offering of beachside restaurants.
- Uluwatu Temple: A breathtaking temple perched on a cliff 70 meters above sea level.
- Balangan Beach: A tranquil and picturesque beach known for crystal clear waters and soft sand, perfect for relaxing or surfing.
Culinary Culture:
Jimbaran's culinary culture is renowned for its reflection of Bali's rich flavours, blended with fresh local ingredients and traditional preparation methods. The area is particularly famous for its fresh seafood, especially grilled fish and mouthwatering seafood platters. You can enjoy a variety of lobster, prawns, and squid. Many restaurants also serve delicious satay and an assortment of fresh tropical fruits.
Dive Deeper:
Visit one of the two other iconic beaches in Jimbaran, the Suluban Beach, or the Dreamland Beach. Suluban is accessed through a cave entrance, and offers perfect waves. Dreamland is another picturesque beach that offers golden sand and clear blue waters.
