Your Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival into Delhi
Fly into Delhi and transfer to your hotel where you can relax after your long flight.

Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi
Breakfast at your hotel followed by a Delhi city tour, visiting Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk in a Rickshaw, Raj  Ghat  (where Gandhi was cremated), the Raj  Path and the majestic Door of India. After lunch, you will visit the Qutub Minar and a Sikh temple. 

Dinner and overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur
Breakfast before departing to Jaipur. Arrive and visit the Birla Temple to assist in a religious ceremony. You will also visit the Royal Albert Hall Palace and walk through Jaipur's Bazar. 

Dinner and overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur - Amber - Jaipur
Depart to Amber Fort after breakfast and visit the Palace in the ancient capital of Rajastan. After lunch, come back to Jaipur and visit the Astronomy Centre and Royal Palace. You will also get to visit the Hawa Mahal Palace.

Dinner and overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur - Agra
After breakfast you will depart to Agra, visiting the foresaken city of Fatehpur Sikri en route. Upon arrival in Agra, you will visit the Red Fort - a beautiful palace which was the residence and later prison of emperor Shah Jahan. 

Dinner and overnight stay in Agra.

Day 6: Agra
Visit one of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal, built by emperor Shah Jahan in honour of his beloved wife. Enjoy afternoon free time to rest and enjoy the hotel.

Day 7: Agra – Jhansi - Orchha – Khajuraho 
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to the train station. Depart for Jhansi. You will stop there before continuing to Orchha. Arrive at this medieval city and visit the beautiful place of the Bundela dynasty. In the afternoon, continue to the mighty city of Khajuraho.

Dinner and overnight stay in Khajuraho.

Day 8: Khajuraho – Varanasi 
After the breakfast transfer to the airport. Board on a domestic flight to Varanasi. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon visit the Bharat Mata temple with its great India relief in marble. After that, we’ll visit the Ganges River to assist to the afternoon ceremony called “Aarti”.

Day 9: Varanasi 
In the early morning, you’ll take a ride in a boat across the holy river Ganges to see the spiritual baths in the ghats and the burning places. Return to the hotel to have breakfast. After that, you’ll walk around the little streets of Varanasi Old Town visiting: Durga’s Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir and finally the Varanasi University. In the afternoon visit Sarnath, the Buddhist city which was a learning centre between VI and XII century. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 10: Varanasi – Delhi 
Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to Varanasi airport. Depart for Delhi. Transfer to the hotel. Free time in the afternoon.

Day 11: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. You will be transferred to Delhi airport in time for your flight home.

Note: The itinerary can be applied differently without altering the content of the visits. In case of cancellation of domestic flights, journeys will be made by road.

India’s Bureau of Immigration has announced that with immediate effect, foreign nationals who arrive at an Indian port holding non-machine readable passports will be denied entry. 

To transit through India you will need a transit visa. You can find more information on the Indian Immigration Bureau website.

All applicants of Pakistani origin who hold dual British-Pakistan nationality must apply for an Indian visa on their Pakistan passport. Those who have either renounced Pakistani nationality or cancelled their Pakistani passport would need to submit documentary proof of this.

Mosquito-borne diseases like Dengue Fever occur all year round. There’s been an increase in the number of cases of dengue fever, including in New Delhi.

Cases of Chikungunya Virus have been confirmed in India, including in New Delhi. You should take steps to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes.
