Your Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, you will be met by your transfer and then take to your hotel. Delhi is a city where time travel is feasible, so step aboard your time machine (the sleek and efficient metro), and go from Old Delhi, where labourers haul sacks of spices and jewellers weigh gold on dusty scales, to modern New Delhi, with its colonial-era parliament buildings and penchant for high tea.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi
Breakfast at the hotel. Take a full day of sightseeing (in private car) at a relaxed pace. Visit the city’s sights, from the Humayun’s Tomb to the towering Qutb Minar and the British Raj-era India Gate, the best way to get a feel for the capital’s dynamism is by walking through its streets and bazaars. Two of the most vibrant are Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi and New Delhi’s Paharganj.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Delhi - Agra (233 km/ 4 hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Agra by car. Agra is a city on the banks of the river Yamuna in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Visit Agra Fort - Agra Fort (sometimes called the Red Fort), was commissioned by the conquering Mughal Emperor Akbar the Great in 1565, and is another of Agra's World Heritage Sites. Notable buildings in the fort include the Pearl Mosque or Motī Masjid, the Dīwān-e-'Ām and Dīwān-e-Khās (halls of public and private audience), Jahāngīr's Palace, Khās Mahal, Shīsh Mahal (mirrored palace), and the Musamman Burj - the forbidding exteriors of this fort conceal an inner paradise. The fort is a typical example of Mughal architecture, effectively showing how the North Indian style of fort construction differed from that of the South.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Agra
Breakfast at the hotel. Take a morning visit to the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is one of the most famous buildings in the world, the mausoleum of Shah Jahan's favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the world, and one of the three World Heritage Sites in Agra. Agra is commonly identified as the "City of Taj". The magnificent Taj Mahal is, unsurprisingly, Agra’s premier sight, and nothing can prepare you for the sheer scale and regal splendour of the structure up close.

Post lunch, take an afternoon visit to I'timād-Ud-Daulah. The Empress Nūr Jahān built I'timād-Ud-Daulah's Tomb, sometimes called the "Baby Taj", for her father, Mirzā Ghiyās Beg, the Chief Minister of the Emperor Jahāngīr. Located on the left bank of the Yamuna river, the mausoleum is set in a large cruciform garden, crisscrossed by water courses and walkways.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.
Day 5: Agra - Jaipur
Breakfast at the hotel. Leave in the early morning for Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, which is known as the “Pink City” for its walled, pink-hued cluster of buildings.

Visit City Palace, Jaipur, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces, is a palace complex in Jaipur. It was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, the head of the Rajput clan. The Chandra Mahal palace now houses a museum, but the greatest part of it is still a royal residence. The palace complex, located northeast of the centre of the grid-patterned Jaipur city, incorporates an impressive and vast array of courtyards, gardens and buildings.

You may also visit the Jantar Mantar, a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, and completed in 1734. It features the world's largest stone sundial, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is located near City Palace and Hawa Mahal The instruments allow the observation of astronomical positions with the naked eye.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Jaipur - Delhi
Post Breakfast, visit Amer Fort with a jeep ride. Located high on a hill, Amer Fort is the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur, known for its artistic Hindu style elements. With its large ramparts and series of gates and cobbled paths, the fort overlooks Maota Lake, which is the main source of water for the Amer Palace. Constructed of red sandstone and marble, the attractive, opulent palace is laid out on four levels, each with a courtyard. It consists of the Diwan-i-Aam, or "Hall of Public Audience", the Diwan-i-Khas, or "Hall of Private Audience", the Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace), or Jai Mandir, and the Sukh Niwas where a cool climate is artificially created by winds that blow over a water cascade within the palace. Leave for Delhi (276 Km/ 5 hours).

Please note that the advice can change and consumers should continue to check it until they travel.

Visa Information

India
You’ll need to get a visa before travelling to India. You can find further information about how to apply on the Indian High Commission website.

From 1 April 2017, the length of stay on an e-visa has been increased from 30 days to 60 days with double entry on tourist and business e-visa and triple entry on medical e-visa. The 60 days start on the date of your first entry into India on your e-visa. When you arrive at the airport, your passport will be stamped and an expiry date for your e-visa will be handwritten by an Immigration Officer. Please be aware that 60 days is not automatically equal to 2 calendar months. Check the date that is written on your passport and make sure you leave the country before your visa expires.

Holders of passports endorsed ‘British citizen’ who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for a double entry e-Tourist Visa (e-TV) to enter India at certain designated airports. You can find more information about the eligibility criteria on the government of India’s e-Tourist Visa website. Beware of fake websites offering the e-TV service.

Passport validity
Your passport must be machine readable, with 2 blank pages for your visa and valid for a minimum of 180 days at the time of your visa application.

The guidelines regarding passport validity on arrival in India are unclear. To avoid possible problems at immigration, make sure your passport is valid for a minimum of 180 days at the time of entry into India.

Airport tax
User Development Fees (UDF) apply at many airports. The fees are around Rs. 1,000 per international passenger and Rs.150 to 260 per domestic passenger. This should already be included in the cost of airline tickets. If for any reason the fee is not included in your ticket it will be collected at the airport check-in counter in Indian rupees
